Hi-Fi Rush had negative time between announce & release
For sure, but from now until end of month itās perfect game to lose time to
Ryan sums up modern IGN as a whole

I guess Starfield will have to wait until their ads end before input theirs.
He probably didnāt even bother (who gives a fuck about cartoony games? they are here for the drama!) to check out the game soā¦how would he remember anything about it? for people like him it was cool to talk about HFR for a day or two I guess (because it was viral at the social media).
something something IGNorance something somethingā¦
This is something I have a hard time understanding. Imagine for every software purchase made on windows, MS would get a 30% cut and thereās no way around it. Ludicrous.
The Armored Core VI preload is live and Iām just sitting here like
PS5 ānot soā Slim.
So Starfield is there just off of pre-orders, at $70 and while being on Game Pass. Interesting
It could just end up being a slight redesign that is cheaper to manufacture, while every thing else is the same including the price. If we learned anything from Red Dead Redemption, is that rumors start from some truth like that with so much spice added to oversell and overhype the poor souls whose expectations will be raised for nothing
Imagine if Microsoft had that kind of control over the platform in the 90ās early 00ās.
Steam? Doesnāt exist, canāt install non-MS stores on the device.
iTunes? Dead. Same reason as above.
iPhone? Dead. Doesnāt work on Windows. Never takes off as a result. Mac OS could have never created the success the iPod and iPhone had without being able to exist unmolested on Windows.
Android? Dead. See the iPhone.
Anyone selling software? MS gets a 30% cut. Half of that is dead or replaced with inferior MS versions that can dramatically undercut.
Netscape? Net-what? That whole saga by todays terms is a big nothing burger. You think Asus would be allowed to make a Chromebook with Firefox as the default browser? Lol. You think the FTC would get involved in that fight? Lol.
The degree we let mobile OS lock things down is nuts. The devices and software that define the last 20 years of tech would have never gotten off the ground if Windows was as locked down as iOS.
The funny thing is Microsoft were regulated into that, they were rightfully sued to stop their anticompetitive use of Windows. Now Apple and Google just run with it like itās nothing and some people actually encourage it just to feel special lol
I canāt wait to review it, between that and then Starfield itās going to be one hell of a busy end of my month.
I agree. I forget to even mention that Sonyās top tier internal studios arenāt even developing games for it so if theyāre not, why would any third party publisher make a game for PSVR 2? Even Ubisoft is going with Oculus for an AC VR game.
As for Vita, Sony had a huge opportunity due to being able to remote play PS4 games on Vita that it could have been the Switch before the Switch. I would have had a $400 PS4 console launch but also have bundles for $500 which included Vita. I think a lot of people would have gone with that model.
For me, I donāt care about any of these games. lol
Iām all in for Atlas Fallen tomorrow and if I can somehow squeeze it in before Starfield, Immortals of Aveum which looks really good.
I agree. 2023 is easily and by far the best year this generation thus far, best since 2017/2018 and will most likely end up being one of the best gaming years of all time.
Itās not really meant to be a slim though. Itās meant to reduce costs due removing the disc drive and making that optional. Iām expecting the new model to look very similar to the current PlayStation 5 Digital Edition.
Are you or anyone else here reviewing Immortals of Aveum?
I donāt quite get what happened to TT. I could swear they quit, but then went on to make new games. Which Iām happy about, for sure. And now they acquire. Super excited about Wolf 2.
Random thought: I really think VTMB 2 will launch on Gamepass.
