PSVR 2 has great tech but way too expensive, isn’t backwards compatible and there’s no game(s) that are worth buying the headset for. As a PlayStation fan, I was always hoping that Sony would have just abandoned the headset and just put all that money, time and resources towards more first party games for PlayStation 5 console itself.
No offense, but as someone who’s been alive as long as I have, Ryan should be every bit as familiar with Sony’s long and documented history of dropping products/divisions roughly 18 months after launch. Vita support, the original Move, the original PS2 Eye, the PS3 Eye, the PS4 camera… the original PSVR… shall I go on? How anyone supports anything from Sony that’s not their primary pillar product is beyond me. How anyone who’s been in the industry as long as this person, who’s witnessed the constant anti-consumer behavior by Sony as long as they have, still being surprised is some god-tier willful ignorance.

I understand that Sony has a track record but you have to put faith in a company to one day realize they should actually give a shit about their product and the fact that I’m making a second VR headset told a lot of people and me at first that there are serious about this but now it’s just a shame

If they aren’t revealing their numbers, it’s safe to assume it’s not meeting their internal expectations lol. “Cough cough, Horizon Forbidden West sales numbers, cough cough”

I made a mistake and bought baldurs gate3. There is no way I finish that before starfield, it’s probably gonna have to sit in the backlog.
The thing is that since you are doing all this investment as a company how do you expect it to be successful when you are not supporting the damn thing…they did the same crap with the Vita of course when they bailed out very quick and didn’t even try but I seriously don’t understand what Sony is thinking with those devices. I guess they expect 3rd parties to fund projects and support a device when they themselves don’t give a fuck? yeah…good luck with that. lol

VR was, is, and probably will be a niche market for many years still. Funny thing is, this is known for a long time now, anyone that coughed up whatever Sony is asking for it in the hopes that games will magically appear for it have nobody to blame but themselves.

I know i won’t finish it before starfield, but I feel it’s a great game to play before starfield since this month is dry
I beg to differ. This first half and little of second is.
This month is phenomenal, best in years and years. BG3, Shadow Gambit, Armored Core and Sea of Stars. Ridiculous.

I’m seeing a lot of Overwatch 2 (Kiriko chatacter) ads with an Xbox logo in my city (France) in the streets and at bus stops for some reason.
Pretty cool to see. I’ll try to get a pic tomorrow.

I think I said it wrong, but my point is, it’s slow for now, but coming to the end, it’s going to get boosted to high gear. Almost pun intended with Armored Core.
