Random fact: The game is in top 17 most played, which rarely leave top 10 level, or perhaps ever in my experience of tracking.

Yeah, I don’t understand the ā€œwhyā€ here either.

Casual.

For me, the other games don’t magically gets delisted if I don’t play them day one so they’ll just have to wait. Also they’ll be a lot cheaper by then.

But he solely means the stuff coming out soon after Starfield. The games you mentioned have a long wait still.

I don’t see myself playing anything else for a long time to come, except for a MP game here and there.

My meaning was realistically folks will be playing Starfield for that long time.

Aaaah, got it.

Well, that’s not a lie.

I buy too much stuff day one… I can’t help it. The feeling of launching a new game at midnight or a few hours after launch is something that can’t be topped to me. I can still manange to do it these days, so I will do it… helpme

Great start for Baldur Gate. Starfield and MW3 will be the final games of the year to potentially beat that Hogwarts number. Oh and Cyberpunk too once the DLC drops.

Voted for Spider Man 2 but in all honesty, after what will approximately be 6 weeks of playing Starfield, I will be taking a break to play through Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Alan Wake 2, Marvel’s Spider Man 2 and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden mainly because I don’t want to have a massive backlog going into 2024 and playing Starfield for 6 weeks, I’ll know exactly where it ranks for me in 2023.

I have been burnt out once already this generation with God of War Ragnarok where I put that on hold for two months to play through Evil West, The Callisto Protocol and Saints Row. Granted, none of them are anywhere close to the level of Ragnarok but I prefer going back to 1 game instead of 3 later on.

Was always going to have a massive launch of Steam, I’m much more curious how it will perform on consoles

Speaking of BG3, why don’t they just release the XSX version now and release it on S whenever they have sorted that out?

I do not care much for the game, but why does this have to affect Series X owners? Has Larian said anything or nah?

Microsoft policy about releasing at the same time, supposedly Microsoft has people helping with the series s version though.

They should’ve just patched in coop , but i could see gamers say Sony paid for that feature or some nonsense

Sorry, but not good. If I was a fan I’d be pissed off.

You mean patched in later? Yeah for sure. If the game is finished, just not this splitscreen stuff, do it post launch.

That’s insane numbers for a CRPG holy shit.

Because the game itself is not ready for the third platform. They are a very small development shop. That is why they are doing staggered releases. They dont have the resources to focus on more than a single platform.

It will release on Xbox when it is ready. It will also be in better shape for it too. It will have all the patches and bug fixes that PC users and PS5 users find.

Larian is that small? Didn’t know that.
