It continuing to get consistent content and updates means it’s directly not a a failure, but I get worried when games like that launch that horribly but end up doing fine if not more than fine, I don’t want that behavior to be normalized. And to many people first impression never changes.
FO4 was good until YouTubers started convincing people it wasn’t and now it’s good again because YouTubers are saying that
It’s already been normalised, at least to an extent
But not every game can overcome terrible launches, most GaaS games, terrible launches or not end up failing
Games like SoT, 76, Siege, NMS, they are more like exceptions than the rule and some games will simply never recover, so while I agree that I dont want the “bad at launch” trend to continue, I still have to give credit to teams like the above that stuck with the game and made it something the fans truly want to play
Whew, I thought it was a crunch/toxic culture report. Good for Larian, they want to stay independent, and thinking of making smaller games next, that’s cool.
Strange is right, alright. But I would call it different. I genuinely don’t understand why there isn’t more outcry about the disgusting animal stuff.
Unless I miss something here, it’s basically glorifying beastiliaty.
There was articles about it, but I think this game is all about you can make whatever choices you want because it gives you freedom to do what you want. It’s why there are so many variations of endings in this game
There’s been worse things in games than sleeping with humans taking the shape of animals.
I don’t think it’ll look realistic to concern me, probably just be funny.
I guess he’s still a human with only the looks of an animal. But it’s just fucking weird to me.
I’m eagerly awaiting those articles that claim they’re more excited for Ubisoft’s Star Wars game because it only has one focused ending instead of the hundreds of endings for BG3.

One of my favorite RPGs ever is getting a straight Switch port. Hope they bring the whole Gothic trilogy to Xbox.
Gothic was so damn good on PC back in the day. Loved it. PB nailed that atmosphere. Remember playing the game and it was night time in it and how impressive it was that the wildlife was sleeping too, haha.
Take a break? All the way for me, haha.

Lol what a dumb tweet . Why tweet that ? I never Seen people be extra hard on a game . I feel reviewers are going to have some bias going into it
To be honest, there’s a lot I’m waiting to play this year like Alan Wake 2, Forza Motorsport, Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty, even Alone in the Dark, Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Modern Warfare III, probably, which will make me pause Starfield for a while.
Starfield could be a 11 out of 10 and you’ll still be playing other games. It’s a game I’ll play for years if it is that good, but it’s stupid to just burn out on it in a few months.
For me since the game comes out early Sept I have a full month with it and then Ys X comes out at the end of the month. Prob won’t be done with Starfield by then but I can then take a break from it for Ys X and then get back to Starfield.
I’ll get Mario Wonder but that’s not really a game I’d think of when you think of “taking a break” lol.
He’s missing the best choices of Outer World 2, Avowed, Fallout 5, TES 6, Starfield 2.
Lol I wish he made this dumb tweet about BG3 because he would’ve got in trouble with that dumb tweet.
Edit: also this is supposed to be ign’s Xbox guy
