I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen such a highly anticipated, unreleased game that also had a fuckin’ good showing on top of that being discussed with so much forced and unreserved negativity around it…

Not really, before the price raise it was infinitely cheaper to get the Gold+GPU conversion than basic Game Pass.
Most people are not doing the conversion.

I don’t think 70-80% of 25+ million are aware of the conversion. Most of them don’t read forums and are probably month to month.

Not sure, they still don’t seem to adopt it at the rate MS would like. They’re so Steam-oriented.
Similarly, when Xbox tried to get rid of the 12-month price reduction for Gold a couple of years ago, I bet they thought they could get away with it because the data likely showed them that most people were paying month to month and wouldn’t be impacted.
I think in general we’re out of touch with how the less informed are buying things.
