Kind of random but, my kid is really starting to gravitate towards PC gaming. Normally he likes iPad but I bought him a PC game called âGaryâs Modâ (that he learned about from YouTube) and he has been glued to it for hours. Iâm not much of a pc gamer so even though itâs a pretty old game, I never heard of it.
It usually goes by Gmod on YouTube titles, it has a lot if gane types from what I know, I guess it could be thought as something similar to Roblox, but I donât think the game types are monetized like that.

Long live Twitter. There seems to be a lot of hype about leaving Twitter, but Iâm going to stay. Why be pressured into leaving my favorite website? I like Twitter, and Iâm tired of people pretending that itâs bad. The block features on Twitter alone make it better than anything else on the internet. Blocking on Twitter is cathartic to the mind and soul. Blocking and following on Twitter is the ultimate user controlled algorithm.

I feel like weâre going from one bad billionair platform to another, did we seriously all forget what Meta has been up too in the past and now? Not saying Twitter is better or people shouldnât make the move but ye.
Ugh people hate Twitter now because of who is running it and all the shitty things he has done to it, if he wasnât such a moron and run Twitter into the ground people wouldnât be leaving or want to leave.

Three things killed twitter.
The loss of developers who understood the back end to make things work, and thus the algorithm changes beyond recognition throwing years of hard work by big brands out. This hurt a lot.
His personality rubs up against the exact people who made Twitter who it is today, in the same way Facebook did to the young people (at the time) who made Facebook what it was and, in time, will happen to every platform.
Sometimes thing just will not make money. Twitter is the oublic town square as he likes to say, but chasing monetisation of that is impossible because there will always be someone willing to do it for a loss.

Yeah, choosing between Elon Musk, Zuck or Jack Dorsey is like who is the least assholish billionaire. Why canât someone halfway decent come up with a viable online platform?

Well threads requires Facebook/Instagram, so thatâs dead to me. Twitter is dead too and blusky being the only other platform that can advertise itself on twitter means there is some collab going on, so dead.
At this point I just use Mastodon and Hive, I need to start using Hive more though as I have been following too many news/reporters on Mastodon so my feed there is pretty much all news.

If it were any company other than Meta creating this new Twitter alternative Iâd actually be interested. Meta doesnât need/shouldnât have control of Facebook, Instagram and a hypothetical new Twitter.
Facebook and Instagram was bad enough.

Microsoft needs to buy try to buy this studio. One of the Last independent good AAA developers. And they are a two team studio now.
Hopefully Microsoft is waiting for the activision stuff to be over.

Iâm thinking about buying one of those 1tb expansion cards now that the price isnât too unreasonable.
I assume that it wonât work for ânew gamesâ next generation? Just like normal hard drives donât work for series x games. Do u guys think it will be compatible?
