They did have stuff like Diablo, Overwatch, and Plagues Tale.
I guess it doesn’t lift the impressions of the show to me for some reason. We have those Sony State of Play shows where every game they shown is multiplatform and to me that’s a trash show for a platform, no matter what games were shown. Many thought they were amazing though. I suppose I’m looking at it as a showcase for the ecosystem, which would lean more towards exclusives.
I’m pretty much Game pass exclusive at this point, I don’t buy games anymore outside of maybe some older stuff that’s dirt cheap
There’s third party games I’m super excited to finally see like MK1 gameplay but having them being shown at Xbox’s showcase does nothing for me in terms of making it a better show
I want to see GP/exclusive content and big third party reveals aren’t going to be that
I check it frequently as it’s incredibly useful, you do a good job updating it with currently 106 updates. How you find the time to do so with everything else you do is astonishing.
I just do it, treating this like a full time 80 hour a week job. We feel so close to being a real company, as long as Nick’s terrible takes down destroy us first
If anyone ever has an update/new thing for either the every xbox game or every game pass game articles please lemme know. I gave up on doing “everything” for the every game one, because there are 25 smaller id@xbox titles most weeks.
Second time trying to play Hollow Knight, this time I gave up when I got to the second area and found out I need to buy a map instead of the game just giving me a damn map lol game just doesn’t click with me
Any famous game that you guys tried to get into but just couldn’t?
Last year’s showcase was meh for me, but simply because they didn’t have enough first party content to show, if Sony did a showcase in summer 2022 without showing God of War they would have had the same problem,
2021’s “E3” was also pretty much about Gamepass and it was way better, it had more exciting announcements and games, while last year was filled with some that never looked great.
A problem i saw was the amount of GaaS updates they did, 20 to 30 minutes were wasted on these last year, it really kills the pacing. Wish they saved that for other conferences, either from MS or from Geoff’s for example, but considering this E3 is also 90 minutes long, i guess we’ll see SoT, F76, ESO, Minecraft, Grounded and company.
Whatever happens, this year they for sure will as much content or even more than in 2021, so i expect a good to very good show at least.
Yeah, hoping Microsoft changes their focus from Game Pass only and goes after marketing deals and whatnot. It’s so damn vital to a platform that I don’t understand how Microsoft doesn’t see it.
We should definitely see a few of Microsoft’s first party games. Hoping for gameplay and running off Xbox Series X hardware.
Last year, they started with Redfall which was great for me but then, it was mostly all downhill. Riot Games and then a bunch of Indies. I was like WTF? This isn’t why im watching your showcase. UGH.
Game Pass Directs is a good idea but the problem is that it would be highly unlikely to ever see a major third party AAA title on Game Pass day one because vast majority of AAA publishers don’t need to accept a day one Game Pass deal.
I don’t see Persona 3 Remake being on Game Pass day one if it’s at the quality level of REmake2/3/4 for example. If Microsoft can show that and if ready, a teaser for Persona 6 day one on Xbox, that would be huge.
Not sure if this is the right thread, but did anyone else’s Microsoft rewards streak reset today? Mine just seemed to reset for no reason, I was over 500 days in a row and for sure did my “tasks” yesterday.
