I’m usually a bit hesitant to call things doom n gloom, because that term is overused to describe normal discussion both here and elsewhere. But this time it’s true.

If Xbox could survive Xbox One generation I think they could survive with at game being 30fps a launch and the surrounding backlash. 
I would be concerned like these people if it was back then but I can see where Xbox is heading with all their studios, if it’s not sorted by the end of the generation then I would jump boats and be on the whole Xbox is incompetent, it’s WAY to early for that with regards to Bethesda stuff.

I loved Hi-Fi rush, I wish Xbox pushed their own advertising and games a little harder. Every Series S could’ve gotten a Hi-Fi + Devil May Cry V bundle, you know…stuff Xbox used to do during the Xbox 360 and Xbox One gen. We don’t have many interesting Xbox bundles, I remember Costco once had Xbox 360s that were bundled with Halo Reach and Fable 3! That would’ve been 200+ hours of fun with just those two games. All Xbox currently has going with Series S bundles is Rocket League Fortnite bundles.
My Xbox one was a 2014 bundle that came with Assassins Creed Unity and Assassins Creed 4.

Look at the amazing bundles Xbox used to do to push hardware and brand awareness
It makes sense that they acquired Bethesda, they really should push their first party software in all bundles like Sony currently does. Even if there is overlap with Game Pass, it’s not like it’s going to disincentivize people to sub to game pass. Give players a taste of first party when they first buy a console and then they’ll sub to game pass or become a fan.

Haha yes. It’s like everyone lost their minds. I also think 30fps in a first person shooter, previously shown and described only in 60 too, is crap. But to go from that to Xbox is doomed - fire Phil and Matt… I don’t get it.
We are so close now, once Starfield comes the machine is going full speed.

The only bundle worthy first party game they have out right now is Forza Horizon 5 and… well there is a bundle for that.
I will be shocked if there isn’t a Starfield bundle.

Once they own Activision could you imagine how sweet a Starfield + Diablo IV bundle would be? It gets people into the door while also giving them a taste of first party before they are ready to go online with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and experience more first party goodness.

Bundles mean a whole lot less with gamepass coming along. First party games are included with it so giving a several month bundle of that is going to better than a single game bundle with the console. But they do have Bundles with games so it isn’t like they are completely ignoring it.
