Has anyone been taking part in a spring cleaning? I’ve gotten rid of a whole bunch of stuff these past few days. Possibly 60-70% of what I own.
Old cables, smartphones, old ipods, old laptops, etc.
I want to get rid of ALL my physical games too because my Xbox Series S is all digital and I feel like the physical games just take up space. I can’t get rid of my old Nintendo 64 even though it no longer works, and I’ve got physical 360 and original xbox games even though I own neither console. I’ve got a One X back at my parents house but I just can’t bother to even play anything physical anymore. I’ve still got some gameboys and gameboy games sitting in the boxes under my bed but I can’t seem to get rid of them either.
I recommend everyone here to at least consider what their bedroom is looking like, give it a good clean these next few weeks. Get rid of old things, old memoribilia too. I got rid of all my Halo Outpost Discovery memorability which was a bit painful but at the same time, I never looked at it anyway or wear the trinkets they gave me.
Get some nice linen Air Wicks in all your rooms, do some dusting, clean the walls, clean your fridge. Just having a clean space is great.
I think they are pretty happy with their strategy. They get to push console and get additional sales (whenever) later from PC only owners and double dippers.
Many of the people really excited about their first party are forced to buy a PS5 because PC ports come whenever they come.
as a PC oriented gamer at the moment I always feel like I can wait on PlayStation first party. There’s enough games out on the market for me not to worry about playing God of War Ragnorok the day it comes out. I might be a minority in that opinion but whatever, It’s not a big deal to me.
I am loving Guardians of the Galaxy, and I’ve only just completed the first chapter. They nailed these characters when it comes to voices, dialogue and how likeable they are. I have to say I liked them as soon as the game started. The dev did one hell of a great job.
Genuinely funny too. I’m already hoping the studio gets to make more games like these, even if it might not be a Marvel game.
These graphics, facial expressions, it puts several bigger games to shame when it comes to these.
Can someone remind me what the deal is with how you have to launch a game once on Xbox so that it can download the config file or whatever it was? I’ve got a lazy afternoon ahead of me and figure I may as well make sure my whole library is playable on my XSX.
That had been changed over the past 9 months of dashboard updates. I don’t recall the exact behavior now, but I don’t think it it requires that anymore for new installs.
