I hope that Microsoft stays away from the gimmicks of the Dual Sense in regards to the Xbox base controller. If it’s an Elite 3, then it’s okay.

There was one interview where Phil had said they were thinking about adding things like haptics and adaptive triggers to Xbox controllers. I think they even sent a survey out at one point too.

This is not a Microsoft patent. The report was false unfortunately. This patent has been filed by turtle beach.

D3Publisher schlock is back on the menu for Xbox. I don’t really know what this is, looks like a silly early 360 bargain bin game, but the trailer is their typical self-aware selves. You may know this publisher for Earth Defense Force and Oneechanbara.

Would be awesome to to start seeing Earth Defense Force on Xbox again. EDF6 released to pretty good sales in Japan last Summer on PS4/PS5 and still isn’t released in the West. Wouldn’t count on this but would be great to see an Xbox port added alongside the PC port when it inevitably comes to the West.

Journey to the Savage Planet is free until Monday. It has been patched for Series. There’s a quality and performance mode.

If looks fine in performance mode but the framerate is anything but a locked 60fps. At first in the ship it seems smooth until you look around the room and it goes from 60fps to like what feels 30fps and then back to 60fps. Outside the ship same story and only gets worse.

Not sure why they even bothered.

I bet that writer of the article about investing handheld instead is having a big head right about now.

If there’s anything I learned, Microsoft keeps getting the W by the incompetence of their competitors.

Well they’re not the only skips today as we also have one from Koei Tecmo

Agree don’t care about no vibration or trigger tension crap lol i always turn off the vibrations anyways.

Back buttons/paddle are the only thing i used and care about since it actually helpful to remap the face buttons.

Have been using it with a 3rd party wired Xbox controller, Eswap S.

If Xbox base controller get remapable back button would be great.

If I can turn the feature off, then it’s a gimmick.

I think it’s clear by now that we’ll never reach a point where we get every single game from Asia. I don’t like it, but I’ve accepted it.

Not even Switch, nevermind Playstation gets that

Quite frankly I’m not too bothered about Xbox missing out on the nicheiest of niche games, you only have to look at Octopath 2 (much bigger than a lot of these niche titles) sales on Playstation to see that some of these games can struggle to find an audience on much bigger platforms, xbox it would be even worse

There will always be games that skips Xbox and I wouldn’t be surprised to see that also start to hit Playstation at some point too in some cases, it’s just the way it is

As long as Xbox is able to bring in a steady flow of Japanese content which should be much easier these days thanks to GP alongside bigger titles like Persona, I’m good

Very true man. I do hope that the much bigger, more promising ones such as Wukong do come to Xbox.

That is, assuming it’s an actual game, of course.

I just let karma do the work.
