I think they should strive to ensure that The Big 5™ aren’t doing Switch/PS/PC releases though as much as possible.
Sega is essentially the only one they’ve nailed down for this. If a Sega game skips Xbox then it’s because it’s also skipping Playstation (Etrian Odyssey Remasters, new Samba de Amigo, both Switch console exclusives)
Capcom is mostly good but could also be called the most Western focused JP publisher. The niche/smaller games are shakey for Xbox (no Great Ace Attorney or Mega Man Battle Network, but Xbox gets Ghost Trick)
Bandai Namco is similar, gets almost everything, but they’ve been bringing some old PS4 back catalog to Switch/PC and skipping Xbox with them. I guess you could argue that this and Capcom aren’t a big deal…
Koei is eh, skips more often than not but at least are consistent with what they skip with (Gust games, licensed games like their Fate game, anything under their Kou Shibusawa team which Nobunaga’s Ambition is)
Square is… Well, we have a thread for that
@KakkaKarrotKake is correct in that Playstation is having their own problems with this. Not every Square game hits PS, smaller JP devs like NIS and Falcom have started talking about the struggling domestic PS market and now sometimes skip PS.
ya I hope they make a special edition for starfield. The halo edition is pretty awesome. im surprised they havnt made a minecraft one for series S, the one they made for one s war pretty rad and i think it would be a hit with the younger audience
Anyone else previously play this game on Switch? What are your thoughts? I’m a very casual JRPG fan, so it was an overall positive experience for me without the usual bloat, grinding, and super long boss battles. The music is very good. My favorite story of the one set in medieval China.

That said, I thought the very end was pretty bad with the villain droning on and on about some nonsense. It does have multiple endings which is cool, but I thought the ending where if you kill the big bad outright then the cycle just continues was dumb. I actually pretty much got the exact same ending in Mass Effect 3 recently lol (piss off the starchild and the cycle continues).
Last year it was available during a free play days weekend and I was surprised by how much I liked Peaky Blinders. I almost finished it too, just didn’t have the time to beat that last level. And I wasn’t gonna pay to just finish that last bit.
XboxEra still isn’t working properly for me. I’m using the “app” on my phone like I always do.
Each time after I go back from a thread it just loads and loads and nothing happens. I have to quit the app completely and open it again.
Also, for some reason after having typed a certain amount of text a red exclamation mark appears next to the trashcan and then a window appears about a draft. It interrupts my typing.
