This is pretty much Sony’s doing.

I would frame that a defensive IP lock. Either way Square is getting more money for the same franchise than they ever received earlier.

Since, all these companies actually know what is behind the scenes. Here comes my conclusion: I am assuming more big news from Xbox is on the way. Something that even Sony knows about.
