Xbox Series S OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED, $299, £249. 512 GB NVME SSD, 60% Smaller than XSX, 1440p up to 120 FPS, Ray-Tracing, All Digital and More

November 10th is awesome, because it gives me three days to preload Cold War, if I decide to get Cold War, that is.

Give me a no controller edition at $250.

Damn console is a huge steal for any newcomers into gaming or anyone looking for a second box/box for their children or many other scenarios.

Here are some really good memes about the Series S:

And I obviously love the one about HAL!

Officially confirmed for November 10th as well.

Nov 10th means that you will be able to play all the big games from Day One on your next gen xbox

Still wonder when they are going to drop everything about the XsX…

It can’t be too far away, I imagine next week at the latest now.

Oh man, imagine if this news broke at E3:

“Next-gen gaming. For $299/£249.”

Drops Mic.

Would have brought the house down.

Apple just announced their iPhone event next thursday. if they do it next week they will do it by the end of the week, or by the end of this week. Time is ticking, they need to find the sweet spot…

Would it clash? i’m not sure they need to worry too about announcing pricing of the Series X close to an Apple event,

$299 will sell like gang busters

Sure, a smaller form factor would’ve been possible, however, would adding an additional $10 for cooling make sense? Does one paying these prices really care if its a couple of inches larger?

:eyes: more tomorrow?

So something good for Xbox? Bad for PlayStation?

Rumours that Sony are announcing their pricing information tomorrow.

Cost saving saving from removing the disk drive is not large by itself. With a device which has low power, it definitely helps with a smaller form factor. The Series S is the discless version at the start of the generation. As these larger transition to all digital, then this will change.

I was expecting that there would be a stream, and at the end would say “Pre-order now open, delivery in a month, starting from $299”
