Microsoft doesn’t have a reason to sell or close down Xbox. I get that AI is the core of the company, but they’re thriving to hit everything they have and make them a standout. It’s not even like Xbox is in the bottom pillar, especially when Satya talks about it in conference call multiple times. It’s like Microsoft has no right to multitask. Then Sony should close down phone line since that’s still around or whatever the lowest rank , right?
It’s a throw away comment, wouldn’t spend too much energy fussing over that one sentence. Goes on to say MS has shown 0 indication of ever doing it.

I got this ad the other day on instagram, it also has the Series S but I did see a few more mentioning the Series X first and I was wondering if it could mean they will soon fix their Series X stock issues…

Windows 11 advertise showcase on Lock Screen. It’s in text but you can’t miss it.
Thinking of buying Diablo 4 physical then selling it prior to going on Gamepass. I did the same thing with Deathloop PS5.
X1TheGamer had a video that I saw last night but I can’t find the link to right now but I had an excellent point about Xbox’s tweet about Sony featuring games that will also be available on Xbox as genius marketing and while a lot of us will agree with that…he had some empirical evidence for it which was pretty cool: the fact that Google search had results that pointed out the fact that many games will appear on Xbox when you search “PlayStation Showcase”.
Xbox’s tweet created headlines. Those headlines were grouped in search results for “PlayStation Showcase”.
To take attention from your competition:s premiere event of the year is pretty remarkable.
He has another video noting how one of their ads is pretty smart and he has a good point about these ads not needing to be ham-fisted while still educating people on what is on Gamepass.

I have Netflix With ADs and they play a Gamepass commercial a lot. Maybe Xbox is going to start becoming more visible

The newest Gamepass ads on Netflix are updated. As someone that watches streaming services and YouTube more than “regular TV”. I would say Xbox advertises more than PlayStation these days. The Series X is sold out at my local Walmarts more often than the PS5 as well, but that’s not necessarily a good thing, could just mean Xbox doesn’t make enough consoles.

All I get on YT is PlayStation ads for Avatar, Playstation ads for FF XVI and Ubisoft ads for Star Wars Outlaws.
It’s interesting that the Avatar ads looks the same in regards to PlayStation branding as the FF VXI ones. Outlaws on the other hand shows no sign of Xbox anywhere, I suppose they don’t have marketing?
