I’m expecting the greatest showcase of all time and anything less well disappoint me.
Elden Ring on GamePass to celebrate the launch of the upcoming DLC is a must.
We also need to see the heavily rumored Infinity Ward destiny style game, that would be a bombshell drop.
Lastly I’d like to see the a huge BC drop of ABK related titles, Nick leaked this was coming a while back.
Halo 5 being added to MCC would also be nice, with a release to PS5 to reinvigorate the population and support for the game.
Let us also say that any game announced should only say PC and Xbox as the games they are releasing to. Leave other console gamers lusting for our games ! And only launch there minimum 2 years later.
A bit too much on asking for Elden Ring there. No offense, could be proven wrong.
I do not recall Inifity Ward making a Destiny style game, what i recall was a fantasy first person game and that’s it.
I do see a plethora of ABK games being lauched on Gamepass that same day. That would be a win, especially if they decided to lauch some Call od Duty titles each month to get people excited for the brand, when it offically releases.
Would they actually put Halo 5 into the MCC? I thought it was not the best one to include because fans disliked the game itself, only the multiplayer stood out for them.
I think they should still say only on Xbox and keep it like that, trying to force change is going to backfire like a forest fire in the middle of a camping trip for how bad of an idea that would be overall.
Halo 5 has better feeling gunplay than halo infinite, in my opinion of course. The multiplayer was incredible.
I see it as an odd omission from the halo collection, and an easy win in the community. Porting 5 to MCC gives them an opportunity to also port the collection to PS5 and get a whole new player base. 5 also gives great opportunities to monetize in MCC with the loot crates.
MCCs issue was a lack of constant revenue stream, hence MS dropped support last year.
Alright its fine to like the game for its gameplay. I will not judge.
But porting a flagship franchise that millions invested in within Xbox hardware for decades is a terrible idea. It would harm the brand more than help it honestly.
Now I know you mean well for players to get invested in Halo and all but i am just pragmatic on this entire idea. It just would not be wise whatsover.
Also, who bets we see any of the netease games from their new studios show something in the showcase? That would be a win in my book.
Also, am almost certain we get something Sega/Atlus related, in addition to a JRPG series or two.
What would be your dream annoucement in regards to JRPG in the showcase? Whether its a port, a new series of the continuation of a series as well as the developer you wish to see annoucing stuff.
People saw a job opening for some kind of Action RPG and ran with it. Not so sure how real it is or if it could have just been for some kind of COD mode.
They normally work on this stuff for months so I doubt it’d be anything as a result of the recent deal. Would be interesting though.
Have we got any confirmation of participating cities for associated Fanfests? I’ve been to the last two in Melbourne, be nice if it was in Sydney this year.
If you like FPS games than they are some of the best single player campaigns in the industry.
If you have GamePass I’d highly recommend just playing them when they drop, I personally skip the multiplayer despite how many times my friends try to get me to play it.
Seeing a bunch of articles now about the showcase. Some good, some bad.
However most of them state that Xbox has a shadow over them now because of the port situation. Cannot really judge them for this, as unfortunate as it is.
Really hope they clear that out soon otherwise folks will look elsewhere for their investments and time. Not that i blame them as i am planning on investing in Nintendo’s new console if Xbox decides to pull the plug just in case.
Its one thing to look for potential audiences, its another to ignoring the ones that have been with you for decades.
This is going to be a balancing act that the higher ups will need to tackle soon. Otherwise they may aim to lose more long term.

People like us which hang out on Xbox forums will know, but I think the far majority still have no idea. I have a few friends which primarily play on Xbox and they still didn’t know Xbox acquired ABK…
I think Casual gamers would if something like a flagship title, something that is identified as an important part of the brand, was ported then they would leave like others would. At least that’s how i see it. But that would be hella stupid by Xbox for a number of reasons.
But i do know that Xbox would not make a showcase with the intend of harming console users. I mean they learned the hard way in 2013 when they did just that.
Also the whole blue heart scenario from Bond is clear indication of Blizzard having a massive presence at the showcase since blizzcon is not happening this year. Like i knew it was.
“The port situation” being in “most of them” is something I simply do not believe. If one or two people mentioned them, then they are losers and worthy of being ignored.
I’m sure people will be furious about Indiana Jones because Hi-Fi Rush had a chain link fence shadow look different. I can’t enjoy Avowed because Sea of Thieves’ beta patch had more foliage in the far distance than a not up to date Xbox version. I can’t fathom how I’d like these big announcements because Grounded runs like shit on the PS5/Switch!
You got a point, they really do love being mood killers for Xbox Console enjoyers.
Am baffled that Xbox has not made plans to blacklist some of them like Nintendo has done a couple of years ago. Like it would be a pretty smart idea do to, no?
