4K 60fps showcase! We eating good ladies and gents! Still remember the magnificence of the 4K HDR Mixer stream, hope YouTube comes close to it in terms of quality!

Great news. Was thinking of watching it after the stream for this but this solves that. Wish this happened with all the different showcases this summer and beyond
I just hope YouTube isnât gonna cause some bullshit, like start buffering at the wrong moments. Mixer was something you can depend on, hopefully YouTube too.
This is very plausible actually. They know people would like to see Xbox footage finally and they know a performance mode is very welcome nowadays. But itâs also possible they do show the game in 30fps while the stream is 60fps. Unless itâs solely PC footage with only a confirmation on framerate (options) for Xbox.
We always end up hyping up ourselves a bit too much and then the show just ends up ok, but it really seems this is the one that warrants getting hyped.
I expect it to be a shitshow with gross compression and extreme dips in resolution quality. I have no faith whatsoever in youtube for this. I donât even have faith they can deliver good quality at 1080p. Youtube sucks, if anyone was confused by what I was getting at.

Thatâs good though. The stream being high quality lets us see the games properly and not be hurt by shitting stream quality.

Has there been any indication from Aaron/Xbox or Fathom about how long the theater events will run and if they have anything after the showcase and direct? I know the LA one says it runs until 4 pt and the virtual Fanfest says until 3 pt, but didnât see an end time for the theater events and wasnât sure if anyone had asked. This is probably the one time Iâve wished I still had twitter in the last 8 or so months.
I guess Geoff really is PS diehard.

OK, wasnât sure if they were planning to also show the Fanfest or do something similar locally at each place, or if the viewing is JUST for the 2 hour event. It wasnât super clear.
Fanfest and Theater showings are different. Fanfest is like festival with goodies and gatherings. Theater is like movie experience, but hey, it wonât stop you speaking with others if you wish.
