I think people should allow themselves to be excited, this show has to be the one, Xbox has been riding their shows mainly on on Starfield hype since 2021 and has given their studios a lot of time to prepare, if there ever was going to be an âE3 of dreamsâ for Xbox, itâs this upcoming show.

We are expecting Hellblade 2 and Avowed. If this guy is right? which i doubt it.
My guess is itâs Fable and whatever Complusion or InXile is working on.
I think he could be talking about Compulsionâs game and Wondering Tower.

Iâm hyped because that will be a great day, weâll get a full show and then a full deep dive into Starfield right afterwards, no matter how the main show turns out itâs bound to be a memorable day for Xbox.

Iâm excited to see more of my most anticipated game of the year, Starfield, thatâs plenty reason to look forward to the show already. And honestly, I try to keep my expectations normal for anything else.
I really do think itâs time we finally see something of these 2020 announced titles, such as Avowed but Iâll still keep in mind itâs possible it isnât here. Which would be very disappointing though, no doubt. Itâs not like tons of XGS games were announced in 2020, so some stuff from back then has to be here.

Iâm just going in expecting a good show. Are people really going to base their opinion on it based on a checklist they make prior to it?
You know, i might be the only one to think this but would it not be somewhat likely that the High on Life DLC appears within the showcase? Cause chances are rather large considering its success. At least in my personal opinion. That and the idea of Squach Games making some deal to be acquired by Xbox or Xbox acquire the IP seems like it would be something visible.
Regardless of this, am kinda hoping to see Avowed and the Wandering Tower on the showcase. With those on board i will be very happy.
Additionally, do you think Double Fine will unveil one of their two upcoming projects within the showcase or not? Cause i feel like its a possibility to look into.

It is, but probably wonât be in the main xbox showcase since it has an event right after. So the wording does at least imply something else from Bethesda.

Unless Microsoft/Spencer/Greenberg come out and say that the Showcase will NOT feature the 12 month shitty format and that it will be more like pre-2020, im staying with low expectations. This way, if they disappoint me for the second year in a row, it wonât be a shock or surprise but if they somehow someway wow me, then awesome!!!
This 100%. Iâm staying with low expectations for the Xbox Showcase. My expectations were in the middle for the PlayStation Showcase but once Grubb said that Tsushima 2 wouldnât be there, I decreased my expectations to low but with that said, in general, I was kinda expecting Sony to come out hitting a grand slam but instead they struck out. lol
I go into every showcase with one thought process - how many games will be shown that are for me and that I want to play? Thatâs it. In general, I donât care about Killer Instinct 2 or Banjo remake but if they get revealed, I would be happy because that tells me thereâs a chance albeit small, that I may one day get Ryse 2.
I have no interest in High on Life as it wasnât for me when I played it but I can see them announcing an expansion at the Showcase which would make sense. I really want to see The Wandering Tower and am hoping itâs in the art style and visuals of Dragonâs Crown. I will be so happy. Avowed just need to have gameplay shown already. Three years. Come in. Itâs fucking past the time.
I hope the content updates for already existing games will be saved for the Extended Showcase but I can see Indiana Jones being at the showcase. Machine Games is good and I would like to think that almost two and half years after announcing the game, that they have a teaser gameplay trailer ready for the showcase. Give me a cinematic story trailer and like 30 seconds of actual gameplay/combat and I will be very happy.

I was missing the Gaiden name on my list which is why I thought it was a different game. I know they changed it to Like a Dragon. Wish they kept the Yakuza name instead but whatever. Still hoping this game gets shown at the Xbox Showcase even though thereâs chance it could get shown at SGF.
@peter42O No way they do that 12 month format again⌠theyâd have to real real tone deaf to even think of doing that again but I know you canât really give Xbox the benefit of the doubt there though lol.
Haha. Itâs kind of tough for me to give Microsoft the benefit of the doubt when every time, I believe that they âget itâ they shoot themselves in the foot and they do this repeatedly. Sometimes, itâs like Microsoft canât get out of their own way.
As for the format, I hated the format last year. Was a shit show for me personally. So I would like to believe that theyâve dropped the format and according to Jez/Rand, they most likely have but I wish they would tweet out that the format will be pre-2020. Then I will be much more hyped and excited!!
