As I said the other day, Sony paying to lock down Persona many years ago when the series wasn’t even multiplat and the series was just unpaid exclusive doesn’t add up to me.

Yakuza 0 and Nier Automata also blew up as unpaid PS exclusives and I did not see Sony locking down the next Yakuza games or Nier Replicant as a result either.

As someone who doesn’t care about Persona whatsoever, the Xbox showcase has a long ways to go in regards to being a W for me personally and since I have already watched Rebirth three times, yeah, I’ll take Rebirth.

In general, getting all of these years old Persona games won’t mean a damn freaking thing if when Persona 6 gets announced, it’s not releasing on Xbox day one.

Persona 3 Reload is Resident Evil 4 Remake and the other is a new one that resembles FF Tactics. Also, when it comes to Persona, they’re low key FromSoft; they don’t miss.

I agree somewhat but you can’t talk about being hyped for FF7R and then saying P3R doesn’t matter cus it’s an old game

For me, I care about FF7R because it’s my type of game where as Persona isn’t.

The years old comment is in general. Microsoft gets the old games but perhaps misses out on Persona 6 at launch? I don’t care about Persona whatsoever but optics wise, it will look pathetic if Microsoft can get all the old games on Xbox but they can’t get the Persona game that matters the most?

I still hope to see these although you could almost start to call it “Atlus overload” (I doubt anyone would complain though lol). I enjoy the SMT games more than Persona (I do enjoy Persona though). I’m just not super into the social aspects and stuff.

I want Atlus’s Etrian Odyssey Collection someday too, very few first person dungeon crawlers on Xbox, but the whole genre is niche as hell. Ah well, I’m just happy that series came back at all.

Might be too far to call it a miss but I thought Soul Hackers 2 was… well, I’ll just say, not Atlus’s best effort. Even SH1 I enjoyed a lot more and that’s an ancient game.

9 times out of 10 though they do hit with their games though.

Besides Persona though, we definitely won’t see this here, but I’d think it’s very safe to say that Atlus’s Project ReFantasy will be on Xbox day 1 too.

I’m just saying that even though I don’t care about Persona, I do want Microsoft to get more Japanese games and they’re going in the right direction but if it so happens that they don’t get Persona 6 at launch, then what was the point in trying to build a fan base on Xbox for Persona if you’re not getting the new main game?

That’s all im saying.

and I agree about P6 but your comment was talking about P3 not mattering because it’s old while hyping up FF7 even though it’s even older by that logic, just a bit odd
