Looking at previous messages in here, it looks like you all want Xbox to do more E3 kind of events (I do too). They seem to be wanting to do more. Remember this job listing found in March?

They should hire me I am a great armchair that job, I’ve made at least 3 posts describing how they should be handling this sorta stuff. 3!

… Maybe too harsh to Banjo From Xbox’s perspective though they’ve wanted a permanent kid friendly mascot for so many years that it would be weird if they finally got one in Crash Bandicoot and they didn’t utilize him in a big way. At least put out a couple Crash games before going back to Banjo. Banjo himself is a product of Xbox wanting that mascot so bad that it almost felt forced how hard they tried to make him relevant. Rare too wanted to prove they didn’t need Nintendo’s Donkey Kong ip. At the end of the day only Crash was really able to break that Nintendo/ Sonic the Hedgehog mascot curse.

I don’t think it did…crash was only relevant for 1 gen. Then disappeared into mediocrity with garbage like Wrath of Cortex. Same with Spyro.

Either way MS shouldn’t push Crash ahead of Banjo. Have both. And you can because theyre different types of paltformers. Crash is an on rails type game. Banjo more exploration based.

There was some rumor they’re making Fallout remasters but that’s stupid and I don’t believe it for a second.

Here’s my personal cool scenario to make a new Fallout game/s:

• Fallout 1 and 2 remakes in the vain of modern Fallout

Or

• New Vegas 2 - or other spin-off

Team: Establish a cross-studio team collaboration between BGS x Obsidian x InXile

Of course for this to happen multiple parties have to agree and want to work on it. It’s easy to get lost in a perfect fantasy that seems very reasonable, not influenced by the complicated realities of game development and creative projects overall.

Really makes me wish these projects were in house and not just really ambitious mods

Narrative Event doesn’t mean very much. It’s like a theme for the season and some CG intro to tie stuff together.

I am thinking that Forge might let people design outposts (build the structures, place enemies, etc) and let people try and clear them out.
