Yes, if the studios want and have the right pitch and feasibility on it. And some IP could be even offered to studios by Xbox/Acti/Blizz/Beth themselves
Im on the boat still that Hellblade 1 didnt need a sequel for story reasons. I dont know how you follow up 1, its message and what it did with another game.
My only hope for Hellblade 2 is a better and expansive combat, having that, I’m in.
I’m hoping the title with HMCC treatment is Fable. It makes sense to release that a year or so before their next main title release.
However, many have been wondering when they would ever do a Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, or Gears of War Judment Ultimate Editions. It almost feels like they have been working towards that for some time now. If you pay any attention to the character models they have released for Gears 5 Multiplayer, you will find many that would naturally fit in newly made Ultimate Editions of previous games.
My desire for that franchise is they do not release Gears of War Ultimate Collection without including Gears 6. The Ultimate Edition release should include everything and wrap up the current storyline. Yes, it would be a huge release, but it would be a fitting tribute to the series (before its put on pause while they work with new IPs).
What about Banjo?
“Fenix Collection” makes a lot of sense.
Especially with Gears 6 on the horizon and being a continuation of the story not a reboot.
Also the MP component, the PC focus, and it’s been asked for since the MCC.
Would love to see it.
Anyone who wants more Gears of War that isn’t Gears 6 is insane. Definitely would make fun of Xbox for it.
Fable makes more sense to get people hyped for the reboot in 2024/25
My topic gets it’s second or third or fourth wind!
It’s still crazy how we went from “Xbox has no games will be sold off to Amazon” in 2017 to “Xbox has a monopoly on the gaming industry” in 2022.
Basically 5 YEARS from No Games to Monopoly.
Bring back Blur!
The deal has still to go through and won’t be completed before months but here is a count of all the studios based on Klobrille’s estimates, except Mojang I put at 600+ and Demonware/Digital Legends (plus the Linkedin count which is not exact but gives another idea of the numbers)

Total : I count 36 studios with Blizzard, King, Arkane and BGS as single studios (39 or 40 if you count Teams at Blizzard as studios)
Linkedin total : 15.382
(just a rough idea, there may be big differences in some cases like Tango Gameworks or The Coalition which seem to be underestimated by a lot (only 11 people on Tango’s Linkedin). And others may be inflated).
For comparison, seems like the same Linkedin count of Xbox studios was 2433 in August 2019 (after the buyouts of 2018-2019, before Bethesda & ABK)
(with Solid State, Digital Legends, Activision Shanghai and Beenox working on a new AAA Call of Duty game on mobile)
(with King and Alpha Dog Games working on mobile games)
P.S. : Not sure about Activision Publishing, if it’s a studio in the same model as XGSP. It’s specified in the PR but you also haves MGL which is not a studio so hard to tell. I didn’t include it.
Also not sure about Radical Entertainment. It’s specified in the PR but it’s missing on the 3 banners and it seems non-existant/dead. No Linkedin, no website, Twitter is inactive since 2012 and their last work was as support team on Destiny. I don’t know if they still exist as a support studio or if the studio still exists to begin with. Probably a mistake but it’s still here so no clue. I didn’t include it.
Note : MS actually has 3 different version of the banner with different lists of Activision studios, I don’t know why and which one is actually correct (certainly the last one).
Is this game better than Project Gotham? (doubt)
Blows my mind that Blizzard has 5000+ employees, hell Activision’s amount too
To me it just further highlights how badly utilised both of these companies have been, over 10,000 employees and your output is CoD which has seen better days and WoW which was declining rapidly
Hopefully MS can turn them around because with the IP and devs they have there they should be pumping out endless high quality games
@Shpeshal_Nick did say that more Xbox characters were coming to the Fortnite.
I know we got a zillion studios but do we need a THIRD racing franchise if its not like a Mario Kart variant
Forza Kart.
One of the racers is a Forza Car driving a Kart.
