I mean isn’t everyone doing the same? I think Nintendo is the only one announcing new first party titles at their own will. I suppose Xbox could do that, but I do think they are more of showing off games within first two years range. Only that showcase 2020 was an exception.

We’ll see, I think next year presence should be more balanced, too much talk with the Xbox “show” and not enough things for Geoff’s show.
Yeah, most people don’t unsubsribe, it’s scientifically proven, but without big hitters, your growth rate becomes flat, most people don’t subscribe for indies/AA, so they need BIG hitter all over the year, 1st or 3rd party.
The thing which frightens me the most is Xbox not having enough clout to do it anyway, Peter Moore snatched GTA from Sony hands and showed it on a tattoo, I want to see that kind of moves.
I believe any game with Sony marketing has a clause in the contract that it comes to PS Now/Spartacus first for X number of months/year before being allowed elsewhere.
Sony have great relationships with certain devs and even have clauses in contracts that say certain games cannot appear on competitors subscription services for a certain amount of time if they have a marketing partnership.
They didn’t announce any GP numbers in a year for a reason. That first half drought slowed the momentum down significantly. I’m sure they know they can’t have droughts like that again.
They’re probably calling publishers everyday trying to get a good deal for both sides.
The second Spartacus gets more subs than Gamepass , Sony is going plaster those numbers all over world . Even infront of MS headquarter .

I thought those clauses were the games they were marketing couldn’t come to Game Pass for like 12 months, nothing related to PS Now, though I am sure there is other stuff with PS Now since we see interesting timing between PS Now and GP drops sometimes.
