Xbox Game Studios |OT7| Killer News Here!?

“The number one service of all gaming with the hottest day one titles, classic titles to return, and many more! Only on PlayStation.”

Could easily happen when you have twice the console user base to convert, lol.

Without Day 1 titles (or 6-12 month) I don’t expect it to do much more than Now tho.

If it’s literally just converting ps plus users over than they already have more subs because they’ve had ps plus since the early 2010’s

Still related to MS failure at the end of the day. XD

Anyway, it won’t be the same thing, simply a PS Plus new tier.

Yeah lol, it’ll happen.

A Spartacus that is a REAL Game Pass competitor will skyrocket. If it’s PS Plus + PS Now + BC then it ain’t happening.

They keep upping game prices and saying their games are premium, so no. XD

“Xbox Game Studios” thread btw

Can’t devalue the experience lol

You can bet they will brush aside like it’s not even there if the service fails to meet their expectations.

Anyway, I believe XGS will have more games to release on quarterly base soon, though I think XGP will contribute that.

they can make a PS branded weekly fresh turds delivery and pass GP numbers come on

I’m sure we’ll see big surprises but it’s a tough ask for these publishers. I’m sure the established ones would rather sell their games first then agree to putting it on Gamepass months later once the sales slow down to get a 2nd wind.

Day 1 is still a risky move for these AAA studios.

And this is where we’d talk about our upcoming 1st half of 2022 First Party games.

IF WE HAD ANY

Yeah, im someone that subscribes when there’s a game that I want to play day one. First party is guaranteed but outside of Stalker 2 and Plague Tale Requiem, I won’t be subscribed to Game Pass for more than 4 months in 2022 and here’s a fun fact. I turned off recurring billing and cancelled Game Pass so I wouldn’t get charged for January and despite not asking for it, Microsoft refunded my $10.88 so I actually played Halo Infinite for free. SMH. LOL.

I would love to see aggressive moves like this but im not expecting or anticipating that to happen.

This is smart on Sony’s part. I would do the same shit just like everyone else would because it’s business. If anything, I would be surprised if they didn’t do this for all their marketing deals because what’s the point in paying for a marketing deal if the competition can come right in last minute and put the game in their subscription service day one? I would be fucking pissed so yeah, I understand why Sony does this and I would assume that Microsoft does the same thing and if they don’t, then they should.

Considering that they’re merging PS Now with PS Plus, this will most likely happen once they announce them being merged since PS Plus is over 45m.

You shoudn’t worry, you’ll get games that are perfect for gamepass.

I doubt it, PS Now exists since 2014 and it’s been wiped out of existence by GP, if a service is bad, is bad.

It’s on MS to push for it with big money, obviously, you can’t be “all in” half-way. 3rd party big games on GP is the missing link of their subscription plan, clearly. And with big I don’t mean uncertain things like Outriders or B4B, I mean Elden Ring or the new Borderlands.

I think MS is working to avoid having to negotiate with third parties for huge day 1 games

Meaning that they’re not going to get any???

If they got $1 billion go sign some more XGSP games. That’s like 10 AAA games right there.
