Xbox Game Studios |OT7| Killer News Here!?

Maybe part of the Game Pass budget is financing ports to the Windows Store lol

Still 14M copies for a zombie game not named Resident Evil is insane. Its a huge IP and one of the bigger Not mainstream known GaaS lol.

They can they just dont do it and have given me no reason to believe so.

We should also take in the consideration that it’s not just Xbox’s doing. It’s on the publisher as well. It’s like how Xbox called it end on backward compatible resulted some people bashing them for quitting. Shouldn’t we be grateful that they even made it happen in the first place? Case in point, can’t really blame Xbox if they can’t get games you’re hoping for unless there’s a document that reads, “Xbox didn’t approach insert publisher because they don’t care.”

Yeah, it’s bigger than ANY RE and rightly so, it’s an open-world sandbox very well-made, not the usual linear jump-scare corrider like RE series. If this next installment will keep the deep rpg promises, it could steal the Cyberpunk thunder of first big RPG of the new gen. MS imo should try hard for this one, come on, there is no problematic Sony involvemnt here, like some publishers.

Well, they kinda need to start doing it then, Gamepass needs type of content and not only first-party content.

Now, who could that be?

The money publishers asking is probably near what some full games cost to make. Still, I think MS should test the waters no matter how much it seems, the payoff could be worth it.

dying light 2 could be a huge get

Jokes aside, I fear this is not only Sony clout, but also MS weakness in the region and/or their unwillingness of going big over there, most devs are not within MS strategy and/or pr speeches. It’s a stark contrast the difference of weight between MS and Sony relationships with publishers, japanese ones expecially. I keep saying something big for Japan must be made if they don’t want to keep this situation of “will that game land on Xbox?”, which keeps haunting Xbox fans. ER on GP day one would singlehandledly solve most of these problems imo.

Yes, but maybe a worthwhile investment since they haven’t got any games of their own in this timeslot. They should probably do what it takes to keep the momentum from the fall going into the new year.

I highly doubt people are going to unsubscribe in the next six months because zero 1st party games have launched, I do think people overestimate the value of 1st party games as if they’re in a higher demand or better than 3rd party games. I never said they will never have any games in the first 6 months, I said the last 6 months is more important to get right first.

3rd party games in GP can easily carry the burden between releases and MS knows if they have a gap they have to fill it, we already have Stalker 2 and I’m sure there is more unannounced games too. Another thing people seem to think a lot of people do is cancel their subscriptions often and hop around, yeah some do that but usually once you have someone in the sub they tend to stay there. ( I’ve paid for Netflix for years and sometimes go months without watching anything) Games last a lot longer than a 10 hour TV series too, another thing people forget. Most people don’t have much free time to finish Starfield and the like in a week or two so it drags out for longer than that.

Just to be clear I am not saying Xbox should release zero games forever in the first six months because they dont matter, what I am saying is right now they aren’t ready to put enough games out to saturate the entire year so they are better off putting them on the backend during holiday season because that matters more. I am also not saying I want them to never release games early in the year, because I would love to have a game every month and I’m sure that’ll happen but just not right now.

Yep, we’ve been saying this for a while, maintain momentum and keep in the news cycle and mindshare.

Im tired of assuming “microsoft surely has x and y thing ready” because it’s mostly always never true.

Like we know of like 58 projects and Im sure none of them will magically appear outside of E3 and XO if it ever comes back.

Well we got nothing since the year’s end means everyone is on vacation. No real progress from everywhere. Once the new year and holidays vacation is over, things will get heated up, slowly but surely.

There is only E3. E3 is all that matters. E3. E3. E3. E3.

(and gEoFf)

I really would like this to not be true lol.

Also TGA, but yeah, until they’ll relive Inside Xbox with a new format, it’s clear they don’t consider Gamescom and TGS worth of big reveals, which imo could be realistic for TGS (they have no japanese games to reveal, lol), but Gamescom is more and more followed since Geoff ONL, also it’s the biggest games convention, bigger than E3, they can do more than trebuchet trailers. XD
