Yeah, Microsoft clearly values the IP. It’s in almost every piece of marketing outside of marketing for specific games. The IP has had easter eggs in several xbox games. It’s clear they see Ori as a mascot level character.

Though skipping xbox would directly conflict with his whole "our games should be available to everyone " schtick . It would be so hilarious if a game they made skipped xbox or were exclusive to one of the other consoles after his little rant on Gaf 2.0.

So the main guy at Moon Studios is bitching about Ori not being on PlayStation yet agreed to and signed an exclusivity deal with Microsoft. SMFH. What am I missing?

Like I said in an earlier post, it’s literal fear of Microsoft. The idea is seeping into these people that MS isn’t leaving the gaming industry. This is basically a zero sum game, but the irony is MS believed in an industry where all gaming entities had a slice.

It all comes down to money. The exclusive money he made from MS is not enough. They also want the sales from playstation. He may try to disguise it with fake rhetoric, it all about the almighty dollar.

not just sci fi and high fantasy but the way their game is played is completly different , Bethesda games are all about exploring while obsidian focus on a main story with alot of choice and consequence , it would be no problem to release them close to eachother

Why would they show HII that’s nearly two years out from release? For the second time too. I don’t get it. Maybe people are getting 2019 info with a 2-year delay.

Jan 1st release date confirmed.
Why did the studio of Wukong show their game so early, why did Pearl Abyss with Crimson Desert? 
I would really applaud Xbox being ok with this, showing gameplay from a game that is still at least two years out, it shows confidence.
As for Avowed, I’m glad I didn’t get all excited as soon as Grubb said he thought it would at TGA, last week. Overall I’m just going to listen less to what insiders say what they think will happen. Sounds much more like a E3 thing now. Which is unfortunate, something like TGA would be perfect for it since next E3 it’s all eyes on Starfield.
Fargo tweeted (around E3 times this year I believe) that people won’t be seeing Inxile’s next project “for a while” so I really doubt for a trailer at next week’s TGA. But hey maybe he changed his mind or something.
