If I had any original ideas for the topic I’d definitely share them. I’m all out.
Also…
No new studios yet but hopefully these ones will certainly deliver big time

Was it backed by Xbox? I think this is a separate thing from XGS?
I guess we just got another studio then? Or maybe this isn’t owned by MS and it’s just a new 3rd party partner.
It’s a bit odd
If it was an XGStudio im sure they would have announced it but the guy doesn’t seem to have left Undead Labs so if he’s still in the “xbox family” you’d think the projects would be xbox exclusive, surely they’d have to be guaranteed game pass games at least
He isnt though, at least according to the link @Knottian posted
There is no indication that Microsoft has provided any funding to this studio. If they did they would have announced it.

Highly highly highly doubt the new studio is Xbox related… they would have said so.

Jeff left Undead Labs a few months after founding his new studio
Yeah I think so too. They will surely make a game for Xbox, but right now I doubt it’s funded by it.
Yep, except the open world. This remains the big question. Not even Jez knows and speculates it may be hubs, so how this source from Sponger a year or longer ago did know is a little beyond me.
It was brought up that Jeff left Undead Labs months ago and this studio has been funded by external sources. Its in the article.
I think if Xbox related Microsoft will be giving us some kind of press release about it
Does anyone know when this was posted on the Undead Labs website?
People you are drowning in a puddle
Jeff left Undead Labs some months ago → founded a new independent studio completely funded by Venture Capital and what not —> nothing to do with Xbox or Microsoft
" Possibility Space has taken an early-stage investment from Transcend Fund, which raised $50 million last year. The company has also received funding from Louisiana’s Economic Development Fund. Strain said of the industry, “There are big titanic forces reshaping our industry right now.”"
That link about him remaining studio head at Undead labs is from 2019. It has been two years. The guy changed his mind and left. Not much more to it.
