That’s why I’m not worried. Just letting them announce their stuff and their strategy when it’s ready and it is gonna be fine. No use worrying over everything I think. Sometimes, you are working on something that is taking longer. In my books, regarding MS recently, silence equals something great in the making.

But it’s very disheartening to see more folks leaving or tuning out of the forums because the overall focus tends to be negative despite there being some amazingly positive aspects. No one wants to talk about the good.

I do wonder though why did they announce MH Rise last year rather than this year. Would be a megaton for this january.

Also I wonder if we will get less drops due to having bigger games there (with first parties).

It’s a day one release launching on another platform as well. They need to market the release for both platforms.

It feels pretty obvious to me that they’re real busy planning a show and having GP things to announce there, so January is going to be different. None of this matters if they pull that show off well.

I get that and I realize they probably don’t want to spoil things, but I feel like they need a better way to communicate that things are going to be different. Has there ever been a drop before where everything was already known ahead of time?

Anyway, there is always a catch. Next time it will be “it is only the beginning of the month”, “the beginning of the year”.

Sometimes I feel while there is a lot of doomposting regarding Xbox, there is always some kind of notion that people should be happy with whatever Xbox is doing all the time. Like two opposite extremes.
