Xbox Game Pass |OT| Our Backlogs Are Doomed

A random Yotsuba&! Meme. Approved.

Yep.

Can we just please go back to the normal ways of how they do these things? Last year was fine, let’s stick with that. Well, except December. For some reason it had no second wave. But once, it’s not a big deal.

But then these oddities in January? Naw.

Is it though? I think everyone here shares the opinion that Persona 3, 4 and MHR are great additions to Game Pass.

I don’t care much for them myself, but they are big gets.

Yes, based on the recent discussion everyone seems busy focusing on the negative aspects.

So is this announcement going to be it for the month? Everything that wasn’t already added to the service is from the 2nd half of the month. Does that mean Inkulinati is delayed?

Some people are capable of both. Being fanboyish never accomplish much in my opinion.

I dunno this kinda sums up to me why people just need to chill out and go with the flow a bit more. They gave us the communication people wanted and it didn’t really change anything. If anything this was unneccessary because they already communicated all this information ages ago.
It’s like with Starfield, Redfall and Forza - yeah we don’t have dates for those games yet and I can see why the uncertainty can be frustrating but those games are gonna come out when they come out regardless of if we know more now :man_shrugging:
Once they announce more we’ll stop caring that they didn’t announce it sooner, or that they didn’t announce it at the game awards because they wanted to do their own show, or all of that fuss. Same goes with game pass - there’s every indication it’s gonna be a great year. Might as well relax and enjoy it.

I had forgotten how full January was last year.

I have yet to see enough folks being capable of being positive. :man_shrugging:

They had a perfectly good, working system of announcing Game Pass additions regularly that people got used to. Of course people react when that is interrupted?

We could all stop caring about everything and anything of course, but I doubt that would be much fun.

Perhaps. But to me it’s equally annoying when there’s some sort of positivity mandate. It feels fanboyish and not serious.

Way too early to make comparisons like that, there will be more this month. This is going into the other direction of bs negativity.

i hope this month is just odd, not the rest of year (considering non day one additions)

If I could retweet this, I would.

Understandable.

But it’s very disheartening to see more folks leaving or tuning out of the forums because the overall focus tends to be negative despite there being some amazingly positive aspects. No one wants to talk about the good.

I think that’ll change once stuff actually starts releasing. The issue becomes Microsoft/Xbox going to the front yard and stepping on every rake in front of everyone. And it all just continues to pile up with silence.

There won’t be silence for long.

I just think it’s worth having perspective. They took a break for Christmas and now have a major event coming up, we still know multiple great games are coming out and that there is an event coming up where they might announce more. They have never promised so rigid a format as people are upset that they aren’t sticking to and outside of online discussions where these things are discussed at length constantly no one will even bat an eyelid :man_shrugging: Why worry.

It feels pretty obvious to me that they’re real busy planning a show and having GP things to announce there, so January is going to be different. None of this matters if they pull that show off well.

I agree, I think they are potentially testing a new way to market stuff moving forward, and it just takes a good amount of work to do.
