i though Shadow Warrior 3 will appear on gamepass
Looking at the dates most of them hit right before the rumored show. I wouldnât be surprised if they have a drop at that show.

Didnât expect that. MHR and the two Persona games are wave 1 games? Thatâs quite late. January is unusual for Game Pass this year.
Well then, theyâre setting up the expectation that this âDirectâ will have Game Pass announcements in it (which is what I wanted to see there too).

Think we need patience because those 3 previously announced games are massive and can stand on their own. Anyways canât wait to hear about next wave of games

So, basically no new additions until the 19th? Quite odd, and late. Normally around that time weâd start expecting wave 2, no?
We already know there will be a second wave. In fact, Age of Empires II and Inkulinati are missing from this list.

Bit puzzled by all this.
Megan said they were working on it, didnât forget about us. Then the news comes today and itâs the three games we knew about.
Stranded Deep was casually added last week, Mortal Shell a re-addition. So exactly what did they work on? So wave 1 is like one game in the first week of January, being Stranded Deep, second game being Mortal Shell is this week and then on the 19th Persona.
And possibly more during the Direct which is rumored for the 25th, quite late for wave 2. Odd.

Well, I guess their new approach is to announce Game Pass drops randomly (whenever they drop or when they know in advance) and so on. No surprises.
it wasnât bad this 1st wave, but some people will compare to 2022 January, feeding bad narrative against gamepass, even more when ps+ extra games from January announces
I agree that we need patience but this is a bit lame for people who didnât have any interest in these three games. Either way, more is coming, but this could have looked a bit better to be honest. If they were only going to announce these games, why the delay in the first place? Were they working on a deal or something and it fell through?

This drop is good - the only issue is that there are no surprises.
It is weird. They could have actually posted this tweet last Tuesday and thereâd be no difference, this stuff was already advertised on the dashboard for months.
If the Direct is gonna have GP drops (Iâm expecting it now) then I will also have above-average expectations for what the drops there will be if theyâre âholding backâ now.

The question is that if they will do the same thing for the next month or not or if they return to the previous cycle (2 announcements per month). I hope at least starting 2023 they have a consistency over the way they announce stuff.
