Is it possible they’re holding the announcement for the “Xbox Direct”? I’m wondering if we’re going to see a change to the format of announcements. Maybe a quarterly Direct and maybe 1 smaller monthly game pass announcement on the off months.

Not the point. Last half of December made sense because there is no more games. Here, we are getting some really soon with JRPG spree. Also, if the show is on 25th, that’s cutting too close to the end of the month.

What if the wave contains the same amount of two wave batch? Would that be ok or you prefer two separate announcements?

That would be OK, but I definitely prefer how they’ve been doing it. Spacing it out is good.

We only know from Megan from Game Pass that they were still working on it, this was last week. If they intend to change things around it would be nice if this gets communicated. A simple "guys, we’re doing things differently from here on out. Don’t expect a new wave until (Direct date).

Also the Shadow Warrior 3 thing that people saw in the GP ad was interesting, something has to be around the corner now. Because these removals of all these games soon and no wave 1 would be a bad look.

The post is Wave 1. Plus they tell you right at the end “We’re just getting warmed up and we’ll be back soon with more games, more Perks, and more news.”

In the end, it’s a 5 game wave 1 as Stranded Deep & Mortal Shell are also included.
