Xbox Game Pass |OT| Our Backlogs Are Doomed

Hm, that does sound bearable if they migitate the repetition somewhat. Timers would have killed it instantly as well for me, hehe.

I have difficulties seeing the fun in repeating things, if you do new things its ok to be on a loop. The checklist of things you have to go through tends to just grow for every loop and I cannot see the fun in that. It’s a very unappealing concept.

Edit: Thanks for the insight btw!

I finished this on Monday and I have to agree. It’s an amazing game but the ending I have so many questions about.

I recommend checking out the video in this post:

Wrapped up Forgotten City & Far: Lone Sails, both absolutely great games that aren’t too long to complete.

Now back to Dragon Quest, which I struggled with initially, due to it taking a while to get interesting. Once it opens up though, it’s a pretty glorious game.

I see Signalis reviews are dropping. I don’t want to read into them much to color my opinion, but has anything been said about its length?

and its gameplay never outstays its welcome.

Closest I could find lol

SIGNALIS seems like an awesome horror experience.

Humble Games and Game Pass partnership has been incredible so far! Humble Games to me might be comparable to Annapurna and Devolver as indie publishers with cool, unique and quality games all around!

Polygons review said it’s a dozen or so hours long.

Same release date as Pentiment.

Definitely variety of choice on what to play, so I dont see releasing on same date as Pentiment being a problem.

Wow, that came out of nowhere. Maybe I missed something but I was expecting it next year.

Anyone played SIGNALIS?

So I’m playing through a plague tale right now and it’s pretty good. It addressed a lot of my critisism of the first game, mainly the dull, script-like stealth game play through more open areas that let you take different paths and approaches to get through.

One thing really bugs me though. It drags. I just went through a part of the game that reeeealy overstays it’s welcome. It seems like many 2nd instalments in a franchise suffer from this. Add more game time without accounting for it pacing wise.

Not bad and looks like its coming to Game Pass?

Humble Games tweeted about it earlier. Looks like it’s gonna be pretty good going by the reviews so far.
