Costume Quest 1 is a very random drop though,lol, wtf? Super old too. It’s a DF game isn’t it? Maybe they were allowed to add it now for reasons?

It is, I was surprised they stretched it to A Plague Tale on the 18th tbh. But I suspect they wanted that to headline the first drop of the month, and Persona 5 the second.

I spent a couple hours playing it over the weekend. It’s really not that bad if you’re into zoo sims, it just takes some time to figure out and adjust to how the game works. It’s good to see No More Robots continue to see success with help from Game Pass though. The next game they’re publishing is Soccer Story, and it’s supposed to release on Game Pass this year too.

October was all about the Scorn, Plague Tale, Persona 5 triple-drop for me - fantastic month right there - but Medieval Dynasty is a nice surprise too. And Costume Quest is a wonderful little RPG - it might be a bit old compared to this month’s other offerings, but it’s well worth playing. Game Pass manages to be such a fantastic service even during months without any first party releases (though I guess Costume Quest counts now!). The quality and variety of third party stuff is consistently impressive.
