I was just looking it up on HowLongToBeat: Main Story 26 Hours Completionist 59 Hours

Lol I just looked that too

Should be doable in a week or so, it’s the 14th of January, right?

Alright I really think it’s time we ask that they disclose when games leave earlier. At least a month in advance should be good.

Thanks for sharing, I’ll update the OP tomorrow when I’m back from the holidays.

The Little Acre is algo leaving the service, as is PUBG Battlegrounds, but the latter is turning F2P on january, 12, so it really makes no difference.

That wouldn’t be a bad thing. Last year I’ve finished many smaller games when I heard they were leaving. Titles I totally forgot that were on GP.

Desperados 3 is awesome, 100% worth it, not worth rushing through in my opinion. If you can get it for a nice price, do that.

Ah dangit. Im still going through Desperados. I bought M&B Warband before it even hit Game Pass so im good there.

I haven’t played Ghost of a Tale yet. I should try it before it possibly leaves console Game Pass too. I didn’t know it was made by a guy that worked at DreamWorks and Universal Pictures.

Edit: Nevermind. It’s just for PC.

Finished The Gunk this morning. Pretty good overall, just need to mop up a few enemy achievements. Great choice for Game Pass.

I just picked this up and stopped right before the first boss. Feels and looks great, par for the course for this studio honestly.

We can’t really know this to be fair. I’m frustrated too but It Takes Two :tm:

This is the way I’m picturing it too, and is why I’m more willing to buy stuff like JRPGs without a huge sale, to contribute a little bit :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes, please! I’ve been lucky so far but it’s only a matter of time :fearful:

It’s not you, but imo this is wrong, most of rpgs on Xbox are from billion dollar super greedy corporations (SE, Bandai, SEGA, etc), they don’t need our money, even moreso to convince them to support the platform. I buy what I like, as I’ve always one. Indies are another thing and it’s ok to support them.

you stopped as in paused or just dropped the game entirely?

Of course they need our money, this isn’t a charity.

I’m not going to feed greedy ass corporations for games I don’t like only to have a baseless hope of better support. LMAO

Release good games with a good schedule and respect the platform, I’ll support you, like I bought almost all Yakuzas.

Oh yeah, I’m not advocating spending money on stuff you don’t want. But not getting money tells them the market doesn’t exist.

After the FF situation, considering I bought several of those games in the past, I decided to not buy SE games anymore and I have not lost anything, considering they don’t support Xbox much, lol. I mean, my money didn’t mean shit to them from the start, no?

Yes, this is getting annoying. There is no reason why we can’t know well in advance when games are leaving. Since there is no rule how long games stay, it is all guesswork for us.

Doesn’t PS Now advertise how long games stay?

Put the controller down to post on xboxera.com  Definitely gonna go back to it, maybe buy it too.

Not gonna disagree that megacorps don’t need my money, but I think it’s a bit of a weird distinction to make. JRPG publishers aren’t the only super greedy corporations, after all. And don’t worry, I don’t buy games I don’t like

For the most part, I have been able to track how long most games stay, 6 months, 12 months average. Few less, like 4 months, and some more than a year or two. But still, a month’s notice at least will make things better.

I believe PSNow tell you the exact dates but not sure whether always or only occasionally, I have heard some people complain some games got pulled suddenly without notice though, so it’s unknown.

Yes, like I said it’s all guesswork. You almost never know if a game stays 6, 8, 12, 18, 24 months etc. It varies a lot and only the very short ones have given a time. It should be simple enough to give at least a months notice, preferably more.

I can’t figure why they do it like this but I’m pretty sure it’s some corpo bs.

I figure to increase the chances you’ll buy something you were interested in but had no time to get into or finish before it leaves, part of the reason they give the %20 discount

I mean… 20% is not ā€œomgIneedtopounceonthisā€ levels of discount, at least not for me haha.

The only games I’ve missed out on and then bought instead was the Yakuza Kiwami games, but they were on a proper sale.
