If Xbox wanna catch the PC gamer, Sega could help a lot in this way: Creative Assembly and total war, i said all. Creative Assembly would be work finally on AOE series. I don’t like what Relic done with AOE4.

Write history with SEGA. It could be the last major publisher and that would be fine with me. It would be a big win, both for Xbox and for SEGA. We’ve been waiting for this for so long. We know that acquisitions take time. Fingers crossed that SEGA is coming next year.

Whether MS successfully acquires ABK or not, I wonder if that entire process will inform the next acquisition.

As in, if they will pursue developers in the next year and look at publishers after a little acquisition spree.

A part of me hopes they have a mentality that they need to make up for lost time due to the ABK acquisition delays due to the CMA and FTC.

Their games are not very “global” though, many are not even released in the West like Uma Musume which is one of their biggest. I wonder if that makes MS less interested or not.

Didn’t Sony announced a plan to raise their acquisition budget ?

And it’s not like Tencent, NetEase or Saudi Arabia are sleeping.

They should definitely be swift with their targets or someone else is gonna snatch them.
