“some new exclusive titles”
Wow, fighting for crumbs from your own studios. Good luck with that MS.

Exactly
Bingo.
Oh brother
Microsoft refuses to be clear with its fans
The full quote is very clear. The full intent of the acquisition is to bolster Ms 1st party lineup. But they have some projects that are not exclusive during this transition period.
Wolfenstein 3, Indiana Jones, in addition to Ghostwire Tokyo and Deathloop are candidates for multiplatform games.
Per the news release
“With the addition of the Bethesda creative teams, gamers should know that Xbox consoles, PC, and Game Pass will be the best place to experience new Bethesda games, including some new titles in the future that will be exclusive to Xbox and PC players.”
They’ve been clear. It’s case by case, theyve said from the start. We know there’s shit like ESO, F76 and the PS exclusives coming out
Problem is people will never shit up about Fallout and TES being multiplat now because they’re too big.
I think it’s pretty much clear that there will be a lot of Xbox exclusives, except some mmo games and current deals for Ghostwire Tokyo/Deathloop.
I don’t see this thread ending anytime soon.
Likely.
The Bethesda blog also highlights this:
First, let me say that we’re not making any landmark announcements or changes right now. As we’ve all shared, the expectation is that Bethesda Softworks and our studios will continue as we have in the past, just with more support and resources than we’ve ever had before. Obviously, Game Pass has been an important initiative for Xbox, and we’ll be working on putting even more of our games into Game Pass than ever before. Beyond that? Stay tuned, we’re just getting started together.
So they basically just started communicating with each other. But what is very clear is that there will be a point where Bethesda goes full exclusive, they just need to align on the when now.
They just need to say Starfield is exclusive along with Elder Scrolls VI now and people can relax
I read that as “after current commitments are fulfilled, future Bethesda games will be Xbox and PC exclusive.”
We may not ever get a blanket statement if for whatever reason they don’t see a PR advantage in that. We may just have to wait until Starfield gets a release date, and at that time they’ll confirm that it’s Xbox/PC.
My interpretation from that phrasing seems to differ from the others’.
They talked about existing Bethesda games plus “some new titles”, and those new titles will be exclusive. Not that “some new titles will be exclusive and some will not”.
clear as mud. Thanks, MS!
Well, I’m disappointed. I won’t watch the shitshow that’s going to start today.
Then why not say most and not some
