Skyrim
Doom 3 and Kentucky Route Zero
Right now I am playing Hitman 3 which I am thoroughly enjoying. The Berlin level has been a stand out so far, they really nailed the feeling of being inside of a club/rave.
For my sins I am playing Fallout 76 again.
So many games, and so capricious.
Clearing a bit of backlog.
Doom Eternal & DLC Borderlands 3
Also doing a second run though Dishonored.
Finished Halo 5, though it was a fun game. Really liked how … was made into the villain. In some way a Horus Heresy esque game where Master Chief becomes the bad guy would be interesting in my opinion.
Now I’m playing Crackdown 3 and I am loving it, so much fun. Have not played Crackdown since the first came out, and this is just as fun as I remembered it. Just dumb fun, not taking itself serious at all. More games should be like that.
Started playing Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and about 11 hours in and its a totally diff game to what I expected.
The opening chapter was excellent and I loved the action and the set piece and from then the game turns in an exploration and platforming game. Soo much of the time is spent on exploring and at times feels like a tomb raider game than a Star Wars game.
The game is solid: Visuals are pretty, gameplay is fun, keeps it fresh with new enemies all the time and the sense of exploration is good with learning new abilities all the time.
However it is not the game for me. Though I am enjoying it to an extent, I wanted more of action game than spending 60-70% of the time looking at maps and backtracking.
Playing through Knights of Pen & Paper less because I was excited to and more because I wanted something I could play while my girlfriend and I watch through all the Marvel movies (in timeline order this time).
This game man… This game is fun as hell. I’m having an absolute blast. It’s just non-stop action!
It’s great fun playing as all the characters from Breath of the Wild. Each of them has their own unique moves & stylish special attacks. I’m not great at these games but it’s noob friendly, so even I can pull off all sorts of mad combinations & enjoy myself. Impa is the obvious early standout for me. She’s a Mage who does hand signs to work her spells, conjures clones & just wrecks everything on screen
I think it works really well as a companion piece to BotW. One of the things I thought that game lacked was a more developed main plot. Basically I wanted to see a bit more from the main cast in cutscenes & stuff. AoC scratches that itch nicely. Loving my time with it right now.
I’m jumping all over the place between starting We Happy Few, Uncharted Lost Legacy, Utawarerumono Prelude to the Fallen and Skyrim with fps boost.
Playing Genesis Noir and moving on to It Takes Two this evening with @Vinnie13.
The Ascent
…in my dreams, anyway
Playing through Control, Fallout 4 and Spider-Man so the PS5 gets some love.
How do you manage continuity? I’m having trouble doing two.
I dropped Days Gone hard. I just can’t get into that game, and I think I dropped it at the same spot I did last time. I beat Genesis Noir over the weekend.
I’ve been trying to play some shorter stuff because I’m really wanting to check out Narita Boy tomorrow and Outriders on the 1st. Kirby’s Adventure, Dadish, and Blaster Master Zero 2 are what I’m into now.
Narita boy is out?
Tomorrow, see my post
That game is an absolute chore & it’s a real shame because they created a cool setting, with an enjoyable main character in Deacon.
I also dropped it in the end. Got a few hours past the third camp (Iron Mike’s) & simply gave in. I never reached a point where the feel of the controls & moment to moment gameplay felt good. None of the upgrades had made any noticeable difference for me, the story still had ages to go (based on the percentages) & it was just a hassle whenever I sat down to play the thing.
Better off moving on.
I finished Uncharted, one is a visual Novel, Skyrim was more of playing around with the 60fps since I already dropped like 200 hours on the 360 and we happy few is trying it out.
My Doom 3 playthrough was thwarted by a glitch where I cant climb ladders.
