What are you currently playing?

I am about halfway through Genesis Noir and really enjoying it but I have decided to put it down until they patch it.

Constantly restarting chapters that have glitched was spoiling it for me.

Spending 30 minutes on a puzzle and getting nowhere then restarting it and solving the puzzle in 5 minutes gets rather annoying.

Wrapped up The Myths of the Eastern Realm expansion yesterday for Immortals Fenyx Rising. Great 8.5/10 overall and really enjoyed it. Completed it in around 25 hours on hard difficulty 100%.

Now, im just relaxing today and Wednesday with work tomorrow while waiting for Outriders on Thursday on Game Pass.

That’s exactly my view of the game. It’s a bit repetitive and I got halfway through and thought this is a bit dull…

For me, pausing the game briefly got me through most of the issues. I think that’s just scripts that doesn’t trigger properly, unless I was stuck on geometry… Game is fantastic though !

Don’t get me wrong, I am loving the game. It Takes Two is a fantastic game as well. I am 4.25 hours into a supposedly 15 hour game.

I’ve been playing The Medium finally. I’m enjoying it for the post part, but the chase/stealth sequence wasn’t my favorite thing. Other than that the atmosphere has been fantastic, and I’m looking forward to seeing where the story goes. The dual screen mechanic is pretty cool as well.

Ι am downloading It Takes Two right now, happy to see that you are enjoying it. Can’t wait to dive in tonight for some Josef crazy co-op action!

Also I finished Titanfall 2 on Master difficulty a few days ago which confirmed one more time for me that this is one of the greatest FPS games ever made, started playing Strider on Hard which is somewhat decent and looks really really nice especially for a cross-gen/first gen Xbox One game and finally managed to beat DOOM Eternal’s The Cultist Base Master Level on Nightmare (thank god they fixed the bugs that plagued this Master Level with the latest update!).

100 % my issues with the game were in those sections.

Almost all of them have seemingly have a very small window of opportunity before you end up being caught and then its just a case of repeating and becoming annoyed by the encounter rather then scared by it.

I beat Narita Boy this evening. It was ok, glad it was on Game Pass for reasons I’ve mentioned elsewhere. Took around 5-7 hours if I had to guess, I skipped just about all the dialogue after the first bit as it was A LOT, not just in terms of amount but also content. Between this and Genesis Noir, I’m super glad Game Pass exists to allow me to play the games without dumping money and feeling unsatisfied.

Next up is Outriders tomorrow! Not sure how it’ll turn out but hoping it’s great.

I managed to get past the ladder debacle in Doom 3. I must say the soundtrack and ambiance in Hell is top notch.

Started playing Joyride Turbo for a couple of quick achievements for daily rewards, actually kind of enjoy the stunt parks.

Forza Horizon 4, mostly doing super 7 stuff.

MCC to do some playlists.

Started Genesis Noir, some puzzles are ok, and some are just a little annoying.

Outriders.

Outside of the few disconnects and server issues, I have really enjoyed the game. World Tier 4, Level 5 overall.

Played a good chunk of Outriders. Was not impressed with the demo, but it certainly gets much better, the more areas you progress through and cooler weapons and abilities you unlock. The gameplay can be damn fun and challanging. Story and voice acting wise?..I had to go full Diablo mode and just start skipping every conversation. Didn’t grab me one bit and just started feeling intrusive. But the actual gameplay, looting and upgrading is solid stuff

Did experience a bit of a buggy issue where my brother had already taken a sidequest and I hadn’t realized I had not. So we weht through, killed the boss, only to discover I couldn’t turn the quest in, because everyone in the party needs to activate the conversation that starts it, not just the party lead. Kept trying it over and over and the area was just barron. He finally figured out we had to manually abandon the quest and take it on again and were finally able to complete it for me

Also has some real cross-gen issues. You’re constantly interrupted by load screens for just trying to progress on from one fairly small area to the next, or initiating a discussion with a quest giver…but then having that load be super quick. You can tell it was designed with last gen limitations in mind with all the loading, only to have it do so on steroids, with the Series X. You get used to it, but the pervasive stop-starts are very jarring at first

From what I’ve seen and heard of what people can do with end game builds, I think THAT Is what they should have demo’d. Starting people from the very begining, in what’s easily the most boring, bare bones section of the game and your character was not the choice I would have made, if I wanted to GRAB people with what the game’s potential is. Especially the Playstation people, whom you need to convince your game is worth shelling out full price for

Juggling between Valhalla (which is infinite), DQ11 (which now I’m playing in small doses because it became a fucking slog when all those shit side quests started populating the main ones) and another game that I’m actually playing to finish :stuck_out_tongue:

This week started with Genesis Noir, and now that I’m finished with that onto Control.

Ah, I’m also playing some retro games in between all those (Jedi Academy and the first Alice in wonderland)

Played a bit more Genesis Noir, a third of the way through It Takes Two and because it has 25% off I purchased Hitman 3 today. Good Times.

Grabbed Immortals: Fenyx Rising in the spring sale. On holiday this weekend & we’re still in lockdown here, so I already played a couple of hours this afternoon.

All I can say is you were right @peter42O. This game is fun as hell :+1:

Immortals is awesome. Hoping Ubisoft makes it a franchise!!! Completed the Myths of the Eastern Realm expansion in around 25 hours with 100% completion on hard. Expecting The Lost Gods expansion in late May. Really really hoping Ubisoft doesn’t have this IP as a one and done because I would be so disappointed.

Trying to play Outriders. Not authenticating.

I think it did pretty well for them. And you KNOW Ubisoft likes to make endless sequels on their open world games, so I don’t see why this one won’t keep going

I hope so!!!
