Yep! And because of that Starfield has been on the back burner for way too long now. Let’s not even mention newly added games to GP, indeed and all the upcoming promising games. Non games wise there are shows and movies to watch.
As my father used to say, may he rest in peace, you need a second life to be able to do all that. He was not kidding.
I’m playing Humanity right now and have to say its a bit of a disappointment. I thought this was some Lemmings like puzzle game and the idea is there but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. I have more problems with controlling the dog than with the puzzles. And the looping music is absolutely awful smh. Its nothing like Lemmings and I have no idea how this got to a 86 on opencritic.
i feel you.
Now i only buy new stuff if i have completed a game.
I rarely finish games, but don’t even mind it anymore.
Been playing Top Spin 2k25, which even as barebones as it is, still is a fun tennisgame. Progressing nicely in a single player career, think I’m lvl 12 at the moment.
And of course the regulars, Slay the Spire (beat ascension lvl 18 finally with the Silent, but still Ironclad and Defect to go. Never been stuck for so long as on this lvl), Rocket League and Modern Warfare 3. Those last 2 mostly when a buddy is online.
Still playing Final Fantasy XIV on Xbox, I love it. Also started Star Ocean The Second Story R on Switch. It’s very good. It has an extensive fishing minigame/sidequest. Dropped Octopath Traveler 2 but I will come back to it later, I want to play the first one first now.
Just Finished with Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC, I think I did pretty much everything I could, with the exception of a catacombs somewhere.
Last boss killed me a lot, but after getting him to 2nd phase solo, I was able to summon my mimic and while he tried to kill me towards end. My mimic finished him off and we got our victory, but man summoning anyone for this fight is tough AF. Because he never once focused on the NPC during my those attempts.
Anyways 9.5/10 because camera is still not the best, but this was a fun but difficult time running around the Shadow Lands. I got some solo victories when strong enough, died a lot and kept trying until I managed something.
Finished Medal of Honor Warfighter. This is the worst storytelling i have ever witnessed in a video game. I have no idea who all these codeword men are. I think they are all CIA so i’m probably played as the villains? They all wear the same sunglasses, ok some have beards. The story jumps around to different characters and different times, sometimes even in the same level. What a mess!
Its pretty for a 360 game (but tears, has framerate issues and severe black crush in the often very dark levels) and has a very impressive car chase mission.
I liked the previous Medal of Honor better when it didnt try to be emphatic with CIA agents and instead just told Operation Anaconda in a linear fashion.
The last real good MoH was Airborne imo. That was at least somewhat novel.
Trying to get through Toem and Coffee Talk 2 before they leave Game Pass. Toem has been quite fun so far, basically run around and take pictures of things but I’m enjoying it.
Just finished with the base game for Toem, I don’t think I will continue with the rest if the game. It’s a chill game where we go around taking pictures and solving problems for others to make our way to the Toem.
Also playing Coffee Talk Ep2, it’s another chill game where the only thing we do as interactivity is make dirks for our customers(with trying to make it something they want), hear out their troubles and return or pass on items to them.
Also playing The First Descendant, it’s a pretty fun 3rd looter shooter, so far I haven’t run into any if the big timers for stuff. The grind also isn’t as bad so far as, people with seemingly super strong builds are playing the early content, so I was able to get all three materials from one of the void bosses.
