Mastery challenges are more fun than putting these stones on top of each other. I hate it so much.

I’m playing through all of the Syberia games. Finished Syberia 1 and 2 on PC with the help of Scumm VM and now speedrunning through all of Syberia 2 on 360 again for all the achievements.

I like the weird and unique Steampunk setting. The games have aged a bit, some puzzles are a bit random and obtuse and the walking is way to much. But these are nice games and surprisingly i have not encountered a single bug, seems like Microids was not always the hot buggy mess it is now.

Been playing Digimon Survive. I missed out. Enjoying a lot actually, but i think is mostly because i like digimon anime in general so getting to play a game on xbox is awesome to say the least.

I have been achivement hunting in lamplighters league for an absurd amount of time. I know it did not meet expectations for some but as heck love the game.

Biggest problem is how to get the achivement of the most difficult setting.

Ha, I actually enjoyed those. Go figure :slightly_smiling_face:

If the next AC is the same size as Valhalla I’m skipping it. Insanely bloated and the the first two story DLC even have less variation in activities.

Valhalla is the magnum opus of the gaming industry’s contradictions.

What I’m saying is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla could take me months to complete, give or take (I usually play video games for around 2 hours a day, whenever possible).

In an industry which demands more consumer spending, recurring revenue, service subscriptions & all the rest from its userbase, we get these monster games dropped on us which can be picked up for $15 & can take… a third of the year to complete. And then companies wonder why software adoption per user remains low. I’d need multiple lives to play these Ubisoft games.

As for what I’m playing, I’m currently going for 100% achievement completion in RE2 Remake. I’m in Leon’s B scenario in the sewer.

Still playing Baldur’s Gate 3 mostly. Just beat a boss in Act 2, think I’m now on my way to Act 3. Even though the combat can be frustrating every now and then, I’m really, really enjoying this game.

It’s also the first game in a long time that I took a break from playing and I have no problem playing 100h+ games.

I really like this franchise so I hope they stop making this kind of games. Valhalla would be so much better if they half the map and cut all the unnecessary story content. I don’t care for my childhood friend and his clan while my brother is running around the town like a mad man.

Going for the S ranks is really fun and Hardcore is a very well balanced difficulty. I love this game so much, it’s one of those games that when I think or talk about it I want to start a new playthrough. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Now back on topic a few days ago I finished PoP: The Lost Crown which was amazing…it might be my favorite metroidvania ever, it’s definitely up there with the all time greats for the genre IMO. Also this game must have one of the best boss gauntlets that I have ever seen in a game, top-notch stuff from Ubi Montpellier.

After PoP I decided to finally start the Seperate Ways DLC of REmake 4 which I finished yesterday after 7.5 hours, it’s quite easily the best Resident Evil DLC ever IMO…not that this means much as the DLC content for the series was always lackluster but Capcom really tried to create something worthwhile this time around and they nailed it. The upcoming Gold Edition with the Seperate Ways and the deluxe extras included is gonna be a freakin’ awesome package of a game. Now I am on my second Professional run and having a ton of fun already trying to find strats for the Pro S+ rank. Highly recommended if you enjoyed REmake 4!

Vallhalla was ridiculously long and huge. I was loving it in the first few areas in Norway but then it kept opening up more areas, more countries, more maps, there’s literally side quests that open whole new areas that are the size of some other full games, it’s ridiculous :skull:

Dead by daylight…someone help meeeeee!!!

So tired of this game. I hate being an achievement hunter that 100% almost all single player games. Paris, Ragnarok and the rogue lite DLC left. Won’t touch an AC game for a long time. :skull:

I completed Mario Wonder. The final Bowser fight felt like a throwback to some of the boss fights in Mario vs Donkey Kong (GBA). I also completed the Final Gauntlet in the Special World. It was not nearly as long or difficult as the final gauntlets in Mario Odyssey or 3D World, both of which made me throw in the towel. The most challenging levels were the few where there are a bunch of colorful blocks floating in the air that appear and disappear with the beat of the music. The hippo level in the Special World seemed impossible to me at first, but it becomes trivial once you unlock the double jump badge.

Overall, it’s a pretty good 2D platformer that should be welcoming to those without a lot of experience in the genre. Imo, it is the fourth best 2D Super Mario Bros game: 3, World, 2 or 1, Wonder, and then the unimaginative New series.

How much did it take you to beat the game?

Probably took me around a dozen hours. I don’t know if I can look up my total play time on the Switch. It’s a pretty breezy game especially if all you care about is getting to the final Bowser fight.

I set out to put a rest to Yakuza as I started on Persona 3 Reloaded.

Instead I’m now playing both together with 10 hours into Persona and 9 hours in Yakuza Like a Dragon.

Definitely enjoying my time in each game, and playing 2 turn based RPG with such different styles, is getting me more into playing turn based games than if I was only playing one of them.

I just finished Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

Great game overall, with gorgeous graphics and that proper AAA production feeling. But out of the 20 hours I put in, I feel like 10 hours were slowly climbing around endless ledges, those ledges breaking off, dropping me to a much lower ledge, and then climbing back up an annoyingly longer path to get back to where I started. Still an easy recommendation overall, though.

And last night I got back to my 360 backlog and finally started Left 4 Dead. No ledges so far.

Sony sent that game to die on PC by not porting the first three games. In terms of pacing it’s probably least favorite of the series. It’s still great but the pacing of the game makes it harder to do another playthrough compared to the other games.

Currently playing The Last of Us on Steam. I already own the game for PS3 and PS4 but I bought the remake for PC, as I’m going to do with all Sony games moving forward.

On Series X I’m almost done with Terminator Complete Edition.

Even though I had a PS4 last gen I never played UC4, I’ve played the first 3 games on the PS3 and after UC3 which was such a boring slog of a game I was fed up with the series. Recently I played the recent Tomb Raider trilogy (since I unfairly rejected them when they came out) and I had a great time with them. I was surprised at how good the shooting/combat was at TR 2013, Crystal Dynamics nailed this in their first try and Naughty Dog couldn’t make the shooting decent in their first 3 UC games though supposedly UC4 is improved in that area.

Can’t wait for the new Tomb Raider game from Crystal Dynamics, hopefully we will see something from it this year.
