I’m currently listening to 1000 gecs and The Tree of Clues, the bizarre remix album for the already unusual first album by 100 gecs, featuring artists like Charli XCX, Kero Kero Bonito (Bugsnax? Bugsnax), Fall Out Boy and Dorian Electra.
90% of the time I’m more a radio kind of person. A good radio station knows how to surprise me.
Other than that it really depends on my mood. I can listen to melodramatic music from Alec Benjamin, some funk and jazz or go the entire opposite direction and listen to Britpop from the 80’s and 90’s.
Besides that, as a trumpet play I also listen to a lot of brass. Both for practice (where I play alongside it) and for enjoyment.
Continuing on a similar note today.
