Was helping a friend make a playlist and this one came up.
My favourite band at the moment are Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs. They are from Newcastle in the UK and are old school heavy. If you like Black Sabbath, this should be right up your alley.
Early Radiohead were truly special.
I’ve been listening to a lot of Griselda (hip-hop group consisting of three rappers from Buffalo, New York - Westside Gunn, Benny the Butcher and Conway the Machine. Most commonly heard rapping on beats from their in-house producer Daringer and acclaimed beatmakers like Alchemist, making their music have a distinctly grimy feel, drenched in bravado, crime and drug dealer imagery (I’ve never done drugs my entire life btw lol but they paint that sort of imagery really well through clever wordplay, and sinister sounding “stankface” production that it just makes you feel empowered to get shit done ). Here are some of their songs (some are all or 2 of them together, some are tracks from the individual artists). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtTu_TC3f6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIFGODKcsKA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9y8k5YliUxk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxsXvaBQfjY
bruh this song SLAPS. When this song was initially revealed/played at the end of Ozark season 3, it got me so hyped, perfect ending to a phenomenal season of a phenomenal show, can’t wait for the finale.
I haven’t watched Ozark yet, but I can appreciate how song choice and placement can elevate an episode or even a series.
One of my personal favorites is “DLZ” by TV ON THE RADIO at the end of a Breaking Bad episode.
On Wednesday’s I always listen to Weezer
Love some Radiohead
Deftones is just on another level
EDIT: Ok, it’s almost 04:00AM here and I had a shitty night (unexpected late night server error on one of my contracts work). Just finished it up, had a cold beer and enjoyed some Opeth
Great song from a very good album.
Today I feel daddy af.
I should relisten to this album soon

One of the most consistently brilliant metal bands released another lovely album this year. Listening to it pretty often. So good.
One of the best live shows I’ve ever been. Discovered them way back in 2008, when they released Fortress. Fully agree with you, they’re just brilliant.
Today I’m enjoying Pinback. Discovered this band through Chino Moreno (Deftones) side project “Team Sleep”.
I wanted to share the newest single, and title track from the upcoming album, from the artist I owe the most to:
