This is the first in-gameplay trailer for the new Fable

But can Witcher 3 be considered cinematic? I never saw it as such.

The bit with the giant is just a boss fight probably, since we do see the much bigger open area at the end with the guy with wheelbarrow when the woman kicks the chicken, and of course the earlier forest bit.

I’ll be honest, I enjoyed Fable 2 and Fable 3 was ok but my excitement for Fable was mostly coming from the fact it’s PG making one and not the IP on it’s own

That trailer was excellent and shows that they are still retaining the british-ness which was always going to be the case but also putting their own big cinematic spin elements into it too

The denial on this game is truly amazing.

come again? what do you mean by coping?

I think I said it wrong. I’ll rephrase it.

Basically, haters really can’t accept the game is in-game scenes. They want it to be CGI so we can’t be excited about its fidelity. In PG we trust.

ahh, thanks for clarifying

yeah it wasnt clear what element of the game you referring to as coping. Even though the game didnt give much idea of the games mechanics or direction, the in game graphics do look insane and truly look next gen

It’s because its an Xbox game with much better graphics than PS5. I keep seeing copium"Well look at Uncharted 4s reveal, that was real time and downgraded!"

Yeah, thats because Naughty Dog isn’t trustworthy.

Forza tech has a huge advantage of asset streaming over any other engine currently in the market.

While other engines stutter every time new area is loaded… The forza tech presents a seamless world streaming at 400mph speed movement with out a single stutter

I always wondered how much more detail could a forza game have if the superfast cars are not the limiting factor

We are going to see that in action in Fable

aw man… no dev interview on the extended showcase.

Am I the only one who wants them to get rid of ranged weapons? or at least force you to choose between magic? I never liked bows and guns in previous games and after watching that satisfying fireball throw and tripping enemies in CQC, I worry having 3 combat options at the same time would be detrimental to the flow of combat.

Apparently fables lead lighting artist.

I still don’t believe it’s real. It can’t be. It’s just too good to be true.

That first screenshot where the mc threw the fireball was 100% gameplay.

Tbh I was busy these past two days and I haven’t followed the news after peoples thoughts settled, I didn’t realize there are some claiming it wasn’t gameplay. I literally thought the whole thing was either gameplay or in game cinematic, the gameplay parts are obvious.

What’s the other possibility? Ms lied about no cgi, showed fake gameplay and called it real? I don’t get it. Ps. It’s playground games…

I remember when people said the same thing about this:

Imagine doubting Playground Games.

When you think about it, Xbox has at least 3 wizards: Playground, id, and Coalition.

Finally, someone who gets it.

That is actually very cool.

But the only not so cool thing she does (that we see) is kicking a chicken. So I wonder what she did for those townsfolk to call her wanker, lol.

It’s true though, heroes can do pretty shitty things. Just look at The Boys.

I like my Lara Croft’s, Jill Valentine’s and endless big chested fighting game women as much as the next guy but not every progtagonist needs to be impossibly attractive

and they certainly don’t need to be all ā€œgoodā€ people, hell OG Lara Croft was actually a bit of an ass
