Don’t use vgchartz for any sort of analysis, their info is essentially all made up. They are around because no one cares enough to go after them. Heck half the internet is flinging life-threatening bogus information that can’t be stopped, so nobody is going to bother with them getting clicks from console wars.

So far, it seems that Xbox consoles in Korea are coming in at around 1000 units per month. I wanted to get the Xbox Series X at full price, but I couldn’t buy it because stock is too low, so I paid a reseller for it. If the Xbox’s stock problem in North America and Europe is being resolved, now it’s time to release the stock in Asia.

Recent sales numbers put this to BS
They are essentially estimating that SX is only ahead because Ps5 sales dropped by a lot while Xbox increased by a little, but we have data points now that suggest Xbox Q1 22 > Ps5 Q1 21

MS really needs to do whatever it’s takes to take the no1 spot back in NA and then make up some ground in Europe to turn things around. If they have to buy up all fab time so be it I say!
But seriously though I’m happy to see the results, MS investing what is most likely extra money for more fab time is probably eating up some of their profits, but the fact they are that confident about it shows the level of trust MS as a company has in the Xbox division.

Vgcharts isnt meant to be used as accurate numbers. But generally they have similar trends.

Its not completely made up. Youre acting if they say switch sold 200k it actuslly sold 50k. If vgchartz has a trend of series outselling ps5 by a large mrgin nod isnt going to come out and say the opposite.
Ignore the actual numbers, also the european and asian numbers are accurate and based on raw official data. Its just the american numbers are predicted based on a number of things.
Alao these numbers get adjusted so many times that its a bit foolish to say its all hearsay. If theyre saying the ps5 is around 18m sold and the series is 14m thats probably around the real ball park.

I agree, just look at the 360, all it needed was US domination for it to be the number one console for most 3rd parties and 3rd party deals to be much harder for Sony, we probably won’t see those days again but there’s a chance that they take back the US and get a pretty healthy lead this year and I’m sure Microsoft knows that.

Then why post fake numbers? They are just a click bait level website making money from ad revenue when people go to their site. It’s a gimmick, they are at the level of all of those “news” sites that have links like “Gamer girls love this one little trick!” (overlaid a picture of girl in low cut shirt holding a controller). I mean those links take you to real websites with “articles”. Do you think those sites are legitimately trying to inform you and have real research into the topics they are talking about though?
VgChartz is just caters to low level fanboy bickering so they can make money off ads. Information from there is basically “Some guy on Facebook who works for Nintendo said”

I know you don’t mean to sound this way but that’s the logic of conspiracy theory (is about feelings). This is math and the end number is not as important as how you derived that end number. If it’s not based on solid proofs and theorems then the end number is meaningless.

Nope. Their numbers are entirely bogus.
While I doubt we will hear numbers on Xbox sales at the next earning call, I do want to see any footnotes that can lead to analyst to estimate the total. Not to mention, we may learn if their chip shortage is any concern or they really got it set as in winning the demand over dozens other companies. It should be pretty interesting.
Microsoft should just buy wafers every year and that’s it 
I am more curious if the reporting will change considering that Microsoft Gaming is a separate entity. Though I am not sure how Linkedin numbers are reported if at all.

SamsClub bundle still in stock.
Walmart AllAccess for SeriesX still available.
GameStop AllAccess for Series X still available.
Target AllAccess for Series X still available.
Microsoft Series X with 3 months of GamePass Ultimate still in stock .
QVC has a Series X bundle with 2 old games (Division 2 and Destiny 2) and a bag for $840 is in stock. This is a bad deal from what I see, but it’s in stock. 
Xbox Series S still in stock at multiple places, Walmart, Target, BestBuy, GameStop, Amazon, so pretty much everywhere.
