Snagged an All Access from Walmart last year and if you can do it (IE credit check and just pay it off right away), it’s super convenient.

It is made up because they have no data, it’s entirely made up in numbers.
They try to adjust wherever there’s an official info, or when a company posts an estimate (like Sony own estimation to only sell 2mi Ps5s the quarter that finished in March), but you can see their “estimates” are flawed, because like I said, they only assumed SX was already because of the big drop on ps5 sales that Sony themselves said they expected, but we have data now in UK and other European countries that show SX is actually selling more than ps5 last year, a scenario they completely failed to track.

GamesIndustry’s official data for Europe in February 2022, show that total console sales in Europe down 44% compared to February 2021. Sales YTD were down 49% compared to 2021 YTD.
For March 2022, total console sales in Europe from March 2022 were down 39% compared to March 2021.
How could the XSX be doing better numbers than what the PS5 did in 2021, and yet sales for all consoles in 2022 be down by ~40%? If XSX was outperforming what PS5 did in 2021, you’d expect the total sales drop to be less severe than this.
I doubt VGChartz has anything against Xbox. I remember when it was “announced” that Xbox One had sold 50 million units. It was from the Turtle Beach CEO in Nov 2019, and it was never official and kinda miscontrued. What the CEO had said at the time was:
“Meanwhile, the older consoles will continue to constitute a strong installed base of headset buyers. Last quarter, PlayStation 4 hit the 100 million mark for cumulative units sold and Xbox One to hit about 50 million according to DFC. I believe this is the first time that new consoles had been announced ahead of the prior holiday season, so it’ll be interesting to see how this impacts the market.”
So, Xbox One was about to hit 50 million (that could really mean anywhere between 45-49 million truthfully), and it was just estimates from a different research firm, DFC Intelligence. So, just as unofficial as VGChartz. BTW, this is the same DFC Intelligence that predicts PS5 to outsell XSXS 2-to-1 lifetime. Make that what you will from them 
. VGChartz’ numbers were definitively not 30 million+ for Xbox One at that time. On WayBack Machine, they had the Xbox One at around 42-43 million. They even adjusted Xbox One number to 45 million+ after this news came out.
VGChartz is a joke, their numbers are not accurate at all and it has been since the Xbox 360 era.

Wonder if MS is doing another big shipment for the 2nd half of April? Looks like some stuck is flowing back in for the X.
VG Chartz is estimates. I usually put them at 1m or so give or take difference. But when Microsoft doesn’t give out official numbers even though they should, then when you think about it, it’s all estimates regardless of who it’s from.

SamsClub bundle is out of stock.
GameStop had Series X Refurbished listed last night but looks to be out of stock now.
Most places now only have the AllAccess for Series X.
Microsoft Series X with 3 months of GamePass Ultimate still in stock.
The Series S continues to be available nearly everywhere.

That’s how I got my Series X a few weeks after launch. I was going to get Game Pass Ultimate anyways and the All Access bundle stuck around in stock a little while longer so I was able to snag it that way. Definitely don’t regret it.
Yeah, for people like you getting All Access is a no brainer. You end up spending less money in the end.
And before anyone goes “well, actually…” Yeah, yeah, I realize with Gold conversions, possible sales, rewards points, unrealized investment earnings, etc, etc, it’s not quite as clear-cut as all that. Except for most people, it is indeed as clear-cut as that.

Here in Sweden it’s still the same situation it has been since 2020:
Series X is N/A anywhere, sometimes a shipment arrives and it’s sold before it hits any shelves, to preorders or lotteries arranged by retailers. You can’t even preorder one at most places since the queues are so long.
Series S is always available everywhere with huge stocks, doubt it sells much.

I think people really overestimate how many people are taking advantage of gold conversion deals and things like that
Most people want convenience, even ust adding one extra step to getting something cheaper isn’t worth it to some people

I agree. I mean even I - while aware about that Gold conversion - do not bother. Much less general folks who sometimes not sure what game is coming to which platform…

I don’t think anyone is aware of the conversion trick other than people who are on forums or happened to stumble upon the Reddit threads when it was first discovered. It’s definitely not a widespread secret either, I certainly haven’t heard it mentioned anywhere in public.

People seem to making a lot of glass half empty assumptions about Xbox numbers
The tweets about Xbox being over 12 million were from January.
Now remember, they were at least 12 million as of January. But that could mean anything. They could have been at 12.5, 13, 15. Basically anything above 12 million. The chip priority was organised quite some time ago and we in the subsequent months we saw them fill up xCloud server blades, have enough stock for a Halo Limited Edition console in November and be a top seller through November, all the way to…well now.
I reckon anyone who has Xbox sales in the 12-15 million range right now is low balling big time
