I don’t like the Game Awards but hope XBox do have some nice game announcements with a date of coming in 2024. I hope XBox doesn’t show games that have no date and will not make it out for 2024.

Unfortunatley looked at Resetera’s post about the Xbox announcement and it’s 50% memes/negative about all things Xbox.
Sorry if it’s been mentioned before but have Xbox flagged TGA like this before?
From what I can find (I joined the ecosystem in 2018, so I may be missing some. I’ve searched elsewhere):
2017: Flagged that SoT would be at the show. Release date announced.
2019: Supposedly a hype email? That’s what Colt said. For some reason, I wasn’t getting Xbox emails at the time.
2020: Game Pass sent out an email the day after the show recapping
2023: What we just saw.

Still not sitting through that bore fest. I’ll catch the trailers on Youtube as usual.

It’s on a school night for me at 12:30am no less so I’ll catch up on the train on my morning commute. Sarah Bond tweeting the 360 logo, Gamepass not having anything lined up for December yet and Xbox saying expect announcements has be mildly excited tbh.

There are easy ways for Xbox to take over The Game Awards like they did Gamescom.
Imagine Baldur’s Gate 3 launching day one on Game Pass with a promise for mod support down the line. It would break the internet. What a great co-op game to enjoy with the family over the holidays.

Hellblade 2 getting a gameplay trailer and a release date is nailed on imo.

It be nice to get a date for HellBlade 2. I think this will be better than the recent God Of War.
Better how? It’s a far smaller scale game than God of War made by a team a fraction of the size.
I don’t think it’s going to be at all comparable.

Ninja Theory is one of the best developers out there. They were able to outclass Capcom Power Stones on their 1st game with a tiny team and small budget in Kung Fu Choas and it was a shame the game got caught up in some race row.
I thought their version of DMC was better than DMC 5 the game was trying to do stuff differently compared to what which seen before unlike DMC 5 which was just more of the same and got rather boring towards the end.
What the team did with a tiny team and small budget with Hell Blade 1 was a wonder to behold and for me had better storytelling and more emotion to the last God Of War
Hoping for more action/fighting, massive boss battles and a bigger game Those were my only faults for Hellblade but that was done and produced like an Indie game yet it felt like a AAA game. Hellblade 2 now will have a AAA budget and all the resources the team need.
So looking forward to it.

Ninja Theory’s DmC is a good game in a vacuum but it’s not Devil May Cry and DMC5 is on another level gameplay wise. That said DmC is the best Ninja Theory game as far as actual combat goes ( that story was laughably bad though) and Rahnni Tucker who was involved in Donte Must Cry and Bleeding Edge is working on Hellblade 2. So I am interested in how the combat has improved from the original.

DmC was pretty good aside from story, though I think remastered corrected it from what I heard. Still, feels like a Capcom thing since it was during the “style of the time” phase with majority of franchise “westernized”. Hard to say it was NT fault.
