An insider said Xbox is going big?
We need a big announcement at TGA this year honestly. I think if something 3rd party is announced they canāt afford for Sony to have exclusivity on the big stuff.
As for 1st party, honestly having a showing of something coming out early next year as well as in a few years would be a good balance.
We need to see Gears 6 and the graphics need to blow everyoneās minds!
Iāll try to find the video again tomorrow. It was a Xbox centric channel iirc and he covered a tweet that said a insider said it. But Iām very skeptical because I didnāt see a specific name.
Ah, thank you
I heard Boom say that Jez said Xbox was going big, which isnāt what Jez said. Maybe it was something else though.
I assume everyone is just misquoting jez, where he said Xbox will be there but didnāt want to even hint at what it was, as didnāt want people to be shooting for the moon, or low expectations.
My guess maybe a small perfect dark update/ or one of their smaller titles coming next year teaser trailer.
If Xbox was gonna go big my assumption would be to do another developer direct in January / February
They have a mountain of studios, now, both are possible.
This is what I meant. He covers the tweet at the start. But that tweet doesnāt seem to say who this insider is at all. And the link on the picture says Gamingbible and that source is as shit as they come, lmao.
Found it.
LOL
It IS about Jez. They claim he said Xbox to have a major announcement.
Lol, thank you for sharing
I donāt how how people interpreted what he said that way, lol. It sucks cuz all it takes is one person to do that and say it, someone else picks it up without the original source, and then it gets passes around.
Yup. So many s having to go an ruin things with garbage lies.

I wonder what is considered āMajorā these days.
Maybe they are shadow dropping all the CODās into GamePass earlier than they expected. Although I personally donāt consider that āMajorā which these journalists probably do.
Just want to point out the āmajorā thing is made up
Ah thanks, I donāt even bother reading these types of articles anymore (which is clearly evident)

A few interesting notes here
- Bethesda has never revealed a game at TGAs
- Xbox Officially has only revealed 2 games there: Hellblade 2 and PD
- Bethesda is easily the least reliant on the show as a marketing beat
- ABK has revealed the most games of the three
So the World Premier tag is gone apparently, oh no how horrible, lmao.
And Geoff has tightened security for the show, which is certainly not a bad idea after the previous two shows.
Sounds like they got rid of the funnest part of the shows.
My first reaction on reading āitās sort of a broad termā was one of ābut is it though?ā And I was kind of expecting some nonsense handwawing when I clicked through to VGC. But he actually makes some good points, and it illustrates the need for some guidelines from TGA to jury members for what they can and cannot consider in any given category.
Although to play devilās advocate to myself: maybe the non-coordinated consensus of 120 jury members spread across the globe is good enough. Meaning, if enough people in the jury pool considers Dave the Diver an indie game, who is TGA to tell them otherwise?
Itās a tricky situation.
