Him using “false” is ridiculous. It was “planned” not “confirmed” in our report. Plans can and do change. It’s why “considering” was used by Grubb and Tom (seasoned journalists). Means the same thing but is more ambiguous.
Jon never said it’s 100% coming, he said it’s planned, based on something he directly saw.
Nate also went on to say

Tomorrow a ramdom nobody out of nowhere will say that Fable is actually a PS5 timed-exclusive and everyone is going to believe him because is bad Xbox news.
Also Jez just said that rumour of 3d parties making xbox hardware (the one of neogaf) is completelty false and he is 100% sure of it.

I just wonder how all those people who sold their Xboxes will react when they realize they’ve been hoaxed.
This has been a shitshow all along. This isn’t journalism, this has become a joke. And people on social media shouldn’t have that much effect on people.
And how can news like that be reported on big websites? Like if I were MS, I’d start suing over for damages done to the company, this has gone too far and we don’t see any of this shit happen to the competition.

But they’re more profitable than PlayStation per console and that represents billions and billions in revenue that Microsoft would be left out of if they canned the console.
If they ditch the Xbox console then they’re reducing their revenue by 80%. That doesn’t make any sense.

MS hasn’t even debunked this yet, so they definitely will not sue anybody. And that’s probably because there’s some truth to these rumors. We just don’t know the full extent of it. If it was all false MS wouldn’t have announced a business meeting.
All we can do is wait and see what rumors were true and what rumors were fake.

Absolutely. Anybody that doesn’t have it on Xbox at this point never intended to play it anyway. They’ve given it away for free during pride month for years now. A port to PS and Switch makes all the sense in the world.

Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush seem like ports have already been decided, but for other games like Indiana Jones there seems to still be discussions. The problem is precisely this: for their high-profile games these discussions should not exist at all. I really hope they just stop at live service games and niche ones.

Xbox Era are going to get dragged if Starfield doesn’t go to PS5. It shouldn’t be but thats how this is going to play out because people online cant read/understand nuance.

Kind of what I’m hoping. Maybe this shit show could be a blessing in disguise. I stand by disagreeing with Hi Fi Rush though. I know everyone here sees it as some small insignificant game, but not only is it one of Xbox’s highest rated last year it honestly is the kind of game that Xbox needs more of. When you think of Nintendo you think Mario first but you also think of Link, Samus, Little Mac ,Pokemon etc.
Chai should be just as much an “Xbox character” as Master Chief, and Marcus Fenix. ( Along with Joule , Jack Joyce , Alan Wake and Marius but I digress)
