Cloud works right now, Geforce now is pretty much the real deal. If cloud blows up by 2030 then one would think console only has 6 years of relevancy. One other thing is Xbox has to become more like Steam become a digital platform with a unified market between console and PC. Steam needs only to move forward with a powerful device that works directly on a TV ala console so before that happens Xbox might need to make that move first.

Nothing worse than Sony fanboys. Giddy as fuck for stealing third party games and locking them up in time exclusivity deals. Nothing worse than time exclusive deals, and I’m glad Xbox dont engage in that childish stuff.

Yeah. Even back in the early 90’s when Nintendo fans were at their most arrogant, they were nowhere near as bad as Sony fanboys. The toxicity of gAmErZ as a whole has gone way up with social media but I still remember being back on what was then "Capcom BBS " back in the early 2000’s, and they were extremely toxic even then.
Still remember a large thread with a title like “Why is Code Veronica exclusive to the Shit-cast” or something to that effect. Again I must being up how gleefully they were at the death of that console. You’d think they’d hit the lottery. They were always the worst fanbase and always will be and there are many receipts to back that up.
Outside of the Palworld thing Ninty fans mostly seem to keep to themselves and play their games.

They are definitely crazy, iv seen them send death threats for various things and hardcore Nintendo, Zelda and Pokemon fans go hardcore on this stuff which makes sense as a lot of them were kids that have been fixated on this stuff for 3 decades
That being said, I never see Nintendo fans attack other systems, they usually keep to themselves, they don’t care about PC, Xbox or even PS, likely because they have had to rely on their own games for decades
PC players also don’t really care either as long as they get access to games, the console war stuff is irrelevant meanwhile PS tends to be the worst because everyone is an enemy to them, main character syndrome type shit

Seems like a storm is coming.We're going to see a year of drops in console sales in the UK this year, mainly because last year was so big (due to PS5 finally being in stock). In January, Xbox Series S and X sales were down 7%, PS5 sales were down 17% while Nintendo Switch sales were down 31% year-on-year

I may start saving for a PS5 Pro. I want the best experience possible on consoles and Xbox is going multiplatform and not releasing a more powerful midgen console so…
I was about to take a Lyft and all the cars on my screen are now master chief’s helmet lol. I can’t remember the last time I seen Xbox do actual marketing but they can do it for a tv show. (Ik it’s probably paramount doing the marketing)
Since the ABK closed I saw a lot more ads from Xbox as well.
I get the feeling the age of consoles might be coming to an end. The new generation of gamers playing Fortnite are not into consoles and now while console sales are down handhelds seem to be coming up.

I’ve experienced both fanboys you speak of. When PS5 launched I got literal death threats from the PlayStation cult on twitter from my son’s viral birthday video. Many many death threats as a “joke” … total psychopath behavior directed at a 5 year old.
When palworld launched # palworld brought up a few of my viral AI art pictures of Pokémon with guns. The worst thing Nintendo fans ever did was say something like “hey Nintendo won’t like this you better take it down”

True. I do think though that Microsoft needs the console or streaming box to be popular to get AI more exposure. AI on TV almost feels like Ready player one territory to me.
