The Big ol' Xbox 3rd Party Releases Discussion Thread (HiFi, SoT, Pentiment, Grounded) (Part 1)

So it’s from several months ago and already existed on a game that launched day one on gamepass. The worst part here is that it would be real real hard for the original source to put the information out there showing the old and the new page, without being fully aware of the time gap and simply choosing not to include that crucial detail. This is just console warrior nonsense.

At this point I have a feeling that there were no business updates originally planned and that this is all last minute and only because people started rumours that aren’t even true and now expect Xbox to say something when there was nothing to say in the first place.

I mean, if it was all crap, they would have shut it down immediately without a specific event. There is something real here, unfortunately it’s a typical MS move angering Xbox fans while trying left-field ideas which do more bad than good, that’s why many long time fans are up in arms, they are no madmen, they only remember the past.

They were doing one in the end of February according to the verge. What happened this week forced them to do the event early

I think it was according to Grubb, but it could have only be an announcement of the new Series X all digital as well as Activision games coming to Gamepass and now it’s transformed into something else due to the discourse.

It seems like every time there is a Sony leak, it’s positive or more exclusives (supposedly) coming, like how many times was something expected to be Sony exclusive and wasn’t, yet every time there are leaks for MS, even normal conferences, people like to make it negative and pretend it’s the end of the world for Xbox and then most of the time, it’s just nothing.

Which is why I think this was all nothing, people just want clicks and try to become big, and are willing to make shit up about anything to try and get there. Even the more reliable ones like Grubb and Nate have gotten it wrong in the past, but hey, all you gotta do is say plans changed and apparently you don’t lose your credibility.

I swear it was made like two years ago, and we discussed it and some people panicked thought it meant the games were gonna be on Xbox One too. Xbox fans never stop panicking, and pieces of shit out there never not take advantage and seeding more fear and doom out of every possible detail out of context.

Yep, I remember it when the E3 of Pentiment and the first trailer of forza motorsport was shwon.

Thing is, outside the Twitter sphere, no one is even aware of this stuff. I have a group of friends on messenger that are all gamers, 1 of them started hearing of the Starfield Rumor 2 days after it happened and only because he read it on IGN, the others had no clue. And as you said, those pages have been changed a long time ago, and no one made a fuss about it back then because it was nothing.

People really like to watch the world burn as long as that world is Xbox. The hate is real honestly, don’t know where it comes from to be honest.

It’s worth noting that all Xbox exclusives are available to cloud providers and those cloud providers could easily launch their app on PlayStation hence bringing the exclusives through streaming. I also don’t think Xbox releasing their exclusives for PlayStation and Nintendo will help them recoup their money instead they would either need to grow teams bigger or contract independent studios to port these games which sounds expensive especially if you aren’t certain the games will hit. They have said they want to reach 3 billion plus gamers and that ABK was an accelerant. To me I think if their cloud infrastructure has the capacity to reach hundreds of millions, then now would be a good time to release that streaming box or accessories for game streaming on a TV before Apple beats them to it. I think game streaming for TV is viable now. Samsung did pretty well with it on their new TVs. The third party games don’t make sense unless they are strictly multiplayer.

Playstation fanboys because it sure isn’t PC or Nintendo fans

Nintendo fans were busy with Palworld, somewhat transcended to Xbox itself. Well, some at least.

I think on the Microsoft forecasts they expect cloud to get really big by 2030 for Xbox.

Personally, I’ve also tried Death Stranding on my iPhone 15 Pro connected to a 4K TV with a Bluetooth controller, and I’ll be honest, I’m a believer now. Can’t believe a game coming off a cellphone can look this good! Better than Switch!

Really?! O.o they are the most inoffensive ones generally.

Some nintendo fans. Most sensible n8ntendo fans realise how garbage pokemon is and wants them to have conpetiton. Even if palworld is a different type of game.

They arent as toxic…but they are the most delusional and stubborn also entitled. Whenever a game comes out many will cry for a switch port and just ignore the power narrative and a lot of newer hardcore nintendo fans hate xbox because theyree anti physical. And we all know nintendo fanboys love their physical toys

Nah they are worse than Sony fanboys.

Zuby Tech is a Sony fanboy so they’re probably frothing at the mouth looking for anything they can spin.

I saw people said he is from iconera, is that another example of people leaving other era?

It’s people that got banned from GAF (and probably other era), so even worse
