This would be the craziest way to find a mole.
If true, it is the biggest self-own I’ve seen in my life.
Or maybe they are as delusional as they seem, it wouldn’t be the first time and they are using wishy-washy statements (more than usual) since a couple of months.
No Starfield ?
Its coming to ps5 likely at the end of thus year according to leakers
You name a game that isn’t coming to PS5. Leakers are having a field day
Redfall and FM should remain exclusives. Redfall because it’s already on life support. FM because Sony fans have Gran Turismo. Now imagine convincing a friend to buy a Series X|S for these two games only. "If you subscribe to Game Pass, you can play Redfall and FM for only $10 per month!!!".
Man, at this point just go full third party and allow Nintendo to make a Switch exclusive Banjo game.
Does Klobrille post here? because he appears to have just ‘retired’ from otherera.
At least, from what I see the percentage of people buying this shit is VERY low, 10% of the fanbase at most. I think not even the Gold thing was so unanimous among fans.
@Arnor-Frost Prominent fans are the first to fold when it’s tough.
What I don’t understand though is, if this was the plan why didn’t we hear anything about it during the trials? Is this such a recent change in strategy that it was never brought up during the acquisition? This all seems a little weird to me. I’m not gonna freak out, like some people in here clearly did, due to this. We’ll see what happens at some point.
Yeah…
Naaaaahhhhh.
At this point, with all the journalist throwing their creditable under the bridge, I hope they make enough money off of engagement because if this turns out to be false…
Option 1)They didn’t want to announce it too soon, so they could have another year of Xbox revenue as usual without destroying their userbase
Option 2)This plan was made very recently, probably by some higher up exec at Microsoft.
Even prominent fans are abandoning ship, I think the seal has broken and MS is pulling the plug because of asinine market expectations within entertainment, it would nuke what’s left of Xbox.
Option 3: the rumors are baseless.
I listened to the trial and it didn’t sound like a business wanting to go third party.
My assumption is that this was their Plan B in case they weren’t meeting their hardware targets during holidays. So it WAS planned all along, but it only became the official strategy in November. That’s why none of the games revealed after that were presented as Xbox exclusive games.
To me it seems like very recent, we had Phil doing his whole meet and greet with all the Blizzard staff as well as Blizzcon with Ybarra and then a couple of months later Ybarra is gone out of nowhere despite saying he was sticking around long term?
Dudes are folding without even official confirmation, damn.
