Not sure if its against the Rules. I mean yes there’s an embargo but lets not get carried away. I doubt Namco will be phoning up Xbox Era for a Takedown. Embargo lifts 8AM PST according to leaks

I chuckled at the headline 
So I did some research on the Pricing for some of these UE for Tales of Arise and Lost Judgement. I said before the UE is 20 bucks cheaper in the UK store but coudln’t figure out why.
The Ultimate edition for Arise is 74.99 in the UK 109.99 for the US. Exact same content

Are Namco scamming people in the US? I’m going to pre order the UE on the UK site. ITs gonna cost 94 dollars after Tax. Thats less than the 110 I’d have to spend in the US store.
EDIT: So OK I went and pre ordered the Ultimate Edition from the UK store. Cost a total of 87 not 94 Dollars. Thats 23 dollars cheaper than the US store. I would have bought the physical for 66 plus tax so an extra 20 bucks for the UE content isn’t as bad as paying an extra 50.
I’ll probably swap my Arise Physical for Lost Judgement in this case. I want the Arise Steelbook which i can buy on Ebay.
Namco definitely overcharing people in the US. The Lost Judgement UE is 90 bucks on the store for both Xbox and PS. Arise is 110. Yet they’re the same price in the UK. 74.99. Which equates to around 94 in conversion. Very fishy.
Maybe it’s true they rekected Xbox marketing, no Smart Delivery games are a big red flag outside huge things like Battlefield.
Reviews are up and it’s currently at 87. Damn good numbers for a JRPG. I’m used to Western reviewers not being too hot on them lol.

Yeah that’s a really strong number. The best I was expecting was ~80 scores and “It’s pretty good… for an anime game” reviews a la Scarlet Nexus.
Great number, didn’t expect it to be that high. At some point I’ll definitely get it.
88 is incredible. Highest for a tales ever.

That’s fine. Im sure if you wait 6 to 12 months it will be. But its unrealistic to expect every game on gamepass. I’m happy to support games like this on xbox. Can’t wait.

They might do. But clearly this isn’t as niche as people think.
If MS did a gamepass deal I thought scarlett would have been the one. Unknown IP. Tales is a big franchise now.
And there isn’t a single review below a 7 and only a couple of 7s. Gamespot with their awful reviews as usual.
Yeah when Nexus and Arise were revealed, I assumed at least one of them would be GP day 1, turned out it was neither lol

Even then 88 is simply not what I was expecting. And I lowered my estimate from around 85 to 82 after you told the history of the series prior, but looks like the game is doing much better than expected. Of course I expect some lower scores to offset it back and bring it to around 85, but I rest my case
